Stayed midway between St Aubin and St Helier in September.
Weather was good and so enabled us to go for long walks along the promenade. We very much enjoyed this but did not walk on St Aubins Bay beach as it is covered in slimy seaweed. The locals told us this has happened over the last few years and they do not know what to do about it. Nearer St Helier there was drag car racing on way day over the weekend on the beach and here the beach was better but it is not a beach we would want to take our grandchildren to.
St Brelade the beach was much nicer.
There are one or two other beaches in Jersey that are much nicer.
