“Fab first stay in Jersey”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

Im a bit late posting this as I stayed at La Haule Manor in March but what a fab stay. Craig, the manager, went above and beyond. We got picked up from the airport, given a glass of bubbles each on arrival at the hotel and then had our room upgraded to a suite. He also taxied us to and from dinner at the sister hotel, which I'd recommend for dinner. La Haule Manor is in a great location and close to St Aubin for some great restaurants. If you dont mind a walk then its a lovely beach stroll to St Helier as well. Staff couldnt do enough for you and the rooms are lovely with great views over the sea. I didnt want to leave so extended my stay for a couple of days extra with no hassle. I would definately recommend La Haule Manor and will most certainly return.

A few days prior to our arrival, we received a lovely email from Craig the manager, offering us a complimentary transfer from Jersey Airport, about 5 minutes drive away.
We were greeted by our lovely driver, taken to the hotel and offered a glass of complimentary champagne on the terrace overlooking the bay – what a wonderful start to our holiday!
Our spacious bedroom with sea view was immaculate with a large comfortable bed, spacious wardrobe and plenty of choice of drinks and biscuits. The hairdryer was powerful and the sash windows opened for plentiful ventilation. A fan is provided for warm weather as the room is south facing.
The bathroom was equally spacious and immaculate with a massive bath and spacious shower.
The sun terrace and pool area were immaculate, the pool and hot tub were exceptionally clean, including the changing facilities (there were even outdoor toys for young visitors), and towels were plentiful. Trees provided shade, and there was a lawn too.
The breakfast was lovely and cooked to order, they even provided Lactose free milk for me (I had emailed them in advance), and the kitchen area was visible promoting good practice.
Our break finished with a complimentary transfer back to the airport. Manager Craig and his team (so professional, always willing to help and greeting us whenever we returned), were a credit to themselves, the hotel and the hospitality trade.

Practical information:
St Helier: approx 3½ miles ( 1 hour brisk walk)
Excellent bus service (bus stop opposite hotel driveway) – 7 buses per hour to St Helier in the daytime, 4 buses per hour in evening. Buses from the hotel also serve the airport and western side of the island.
Excellent restaurants in St Aubin less than 5 minutes walk (no evening meal provided at hotel but snacks available)
Caution: there is some traffic noise in sea view rooms if the windows are open – this died down around 1130pm.

We had selected this hotel for our stay in Jersey based on other Tripadvisor reviews - and we were not disappointed. Our Superior-grade room was actually at the rear overlooking the car park. However, this had the advantage of being quieter (the hotel faces a busy road) and cooler in the heat-wave we experienced (our room faced North). Everything very clean, comfortable, very stylish and roomy. The staff were all very professional, and top marks to Craig, the manager. The place is a credit to him.

The Hotel has elegant and well-maintained gardens at the front, and it really is just an easy short walk to get to St Aubin to reach the numerous restaurants there. We recommend a visit to La Place, La Haule's sister hotel nearby, where dinner is a lovely experience, comparing very favourably with other restaurants nearby. The farm shop immediately behind the hotel is also well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear are quieter.

My interaction started with an e-mail request to upgrade the room that had already been booked. Immediate courteous and accommodating response from Craig who features in all reviews; believe you me the man is as good as gold.
A wonderful location and breakfast wonderful and freshly made. Croissants and bread from heaven. Impeccably kept and managed.
We spent 6 wonderful days at this spot of paradise, unfortunately the weather did not play along to use the golf clubs that Craig offered.
Nothing is to much trouble for the team Ola and Craig, booking restaurants and offering advice and information.
No doubt we will return.

We booked this last year based on trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. Leading up to the holiday we had some questions to ask and got prompt responses by e mail. We were welcomed by Craig who was efficient, friendly, informative and professional. He always had time to talk and gave great advice about the island. Room was an excellent standard with a fantastic view over the bay, serviced to a high standard during our 8 day stay, no complaints at all. Location could not have been any better, easy walking distance to many eateries. Breakfast was fantastic, an excellent choice and again the staff did everything to please. If we return to Jersey we would definitely be returning to La Haule, thanks for making our stay so comfortable.

Room Tip: We had room 11 on ground floor, beautiful view with two 'French doors' overlooking the bay.

We stayed at La Haule Manor for the 1st time over the Easter weekend. Myself & hubby travelled together with his sister & hubby. It was our 3rd time to Jersey & their 1st. On our previous 2 trips we had stayed in St Helier but found it a little busy. We had walked past La Haule Manor a few times & always thought how pretty it looked. We weren't disappointed, collecting us from the airport & a glass of bubbly sat outside on check in are just a couple of lovely touches. We booked a sea view room & it was beautiful. We all said how the beds were the comfiest we had every stayed in. The breakfast was fantastic all freshly cooked & basically covered everything you could want. All the staff especially Craig were all very friendly, accommodating & very professional. Nothing is too much trouble & we will definitely stay here again.
