I recently stayed at this hotel for a long weekend and was delighted with the friendly and warm welcome. On arrival we were shown the facilities, offered a complimentary drink and shown our room that had beautiful sea views. The hotel was modern inside, very clean and a hop and a skip to the beach, if you like golf the course looked vast.
I must say I have never stayed at a hotel with such friendly staff, every staff member was polite and went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay.
The pools were lovely and again the staff working in this area was very friendly.
In the evening we went to the restaurant that was fabulous. I would certainly reccomend this hotel.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms were lovely very quiet hotel

Recently spent three nights here on a weekend break with a friend.

The welcome was friendly and professional. All of the ground floor staff who work the bar, restauarant, lounge and reception are warm and attentive. Service was swift in all of these areas.

The hotel itself is smartly maintained. There is evidence of recent modernisation (a great deal of money seems to have been spent on the patio windows in the rooms which face the pool). However, some of the furniture in the rooms is distinctively 90's and looking, therefore, a bit outdated.

Room rates are not cheap but the views from mine was amazing; some fantastic sunsets across the sea views. There is no air conditioning in the rooms which can mean that it gets warm. There is an acceptably equipped gym and two pools to keep you fit.

I would happily recommend this to a couple or someone looking for a quiet weekend. However, it is not going to appeal to anybody looking for a hotel with a buzz. Many of the clientele have clearly been coming here for years (and seem to know the manager by name) and the place has a gentle, sleepy feel to it. We were regularly the last people in the bar at 11pm in the evening.

Also, peaches were put in the room everyday. Peaches are always good.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view.

Just had wonderful 2 days relaxing at the Atlantic. The thing I love about this hotel is it's atmosphere, perfectly friendly but not over poweringly so! Food superb as you might expect with a Michelin 1*. Breakfast not quite as good as last time but still up there with the best. Just to be a little hyper critical the TVs are a bit past it, they need dragging into the 21st century especially as the weather on our trip was not very kind to us. That said excellent as ever. We will return!

We stayed in the Atlantic Hotel for five nights in June. The hotel was perfect; the position overlooking the garden (complete with red squirrels) which led down to the ocean was fabulous. The room was quiet, the other guests delightful, the staff welcoming and the restaurant absolutely superb. We ate in the hotel each night - the food was amazing and the staff both professional and attentive making us feel both pampered and relaxed. Indeed the only downside to our stay was the weather - we arrived in driving rain, left in driving rain, and had a few rainy days in between. What are the negatives? None that we can think of. This is a superb, four star family run hotel with a great restaurant and wonderful staff. Would we return? Yes. Would we recommend the hotel and restaurant? Without hesitation.

We recently spent 7 nights at the hotel, first impressions on arrival, it was calm and peaceful. The grounds are immaculate, with lovely flowers and gorgeous gardens. The gardener is obviously doing a great job and provided us with some great tips about the island.
Reception staff throughout our stay were welcoming and knowledgeable about the hotel and Jersey. They would go out of their way to approach you and make sure you felt welcome at all times.
The bedrooms were spotlessly clean and worth paying the extra for the sea view. They were well appointed and fantastically equipped, with every amenity you’d require (with fresh bottled water every evening as part of turndown service). One criticism, the bed was comfortable, however, it was 2 single beds pushed together and you could feel the space between the beds, not ideal for a couple’s vacation. A continental quilt would have been preferable as the blankets kept slipping off.
We visited the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, service and food were excellent. A special mention to the restaurant manager, Martinho, he was efficient, courteous and remembered our name on each visit. That type of service cannot be trained. Another mention for our waiter from Madeira, can’t remember his name, although, again very professional and so friendly. He even tried to persuade us to give surfing a try, which regrettably as a couple of 50 year olds was out of the question, but he certainly made us laugh.
To sum up, this hotel is fabulous. Clean and efficiently run, with excellent food, incredible facilities, great location and an overall feeling of relaxation.

What a lovely place. Rooms aren't the largest but are well furnished, well looked after and very comfortable. We had an ocean view room, although the sea is some way off. These rooms get very hot late afternoon with the sun but they all have double doors to the balcony. What makes this hotel is the fantastic service. Nothing ott or stuffy but genuine friendly service. The maitre d is a star. Would return
