“Really lovely hotel”
Reviewed 19 November 2013

Spent time at this hotel in the summer when i was at a wedding there. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous and right across the road from the beach, so very easily accessible.
The hotel had a very grand and elegant feel about it but also felt very welcoming and warm... a lovely mix!
The food served was delicious and the staff were quick to help and provide a solution to the few minor issues that crept up.
I would definently reccomend a stay here and would also recommend it for weddings - they hotel did a great job at putting on a lovely and perfect day.

We stayed here in April 2013. Rooms and communal areas are beautifully decorated and facilities are what you would expect. The views are stunning and the location is excellent. The food in the restaurant was very average however and there are much better places to eat in Jersey. Didn't use the fitness facilities so can't comment on these.

A late booking, and chosen for the reasonable proximity of this hotel to the airport in Jersey, has paid dividends. An unusually high standard of customer care, an excellent spa and health centre, and carefully refurbished room with a stunning view of the bay made for a relaxed and battery charging business trip. Special mention is deserved for the night porter who helped with an early morning check-out. A few tweaks in the restaurant with regard to the quality of the cooking would elevate this to an excellent rating for a hotel of this class.

Ive been staying there since i was 2 and me and my family just love it, the atmosphere and decoration are lovely, the room i shared with my 2 sisters was spacious and really nice, my parents had a sea view room which was so nice because its so near the beach and you can hear the waves.
Breakfast was nice, its buffet and the sausages are the best ive ever had, and theres a good selection of cereals
Diner is lovely aswell and the waiters are so attentive and sweet,

However the only bad thing i can say about this hotel is the dw health club that is connected to the hotel where you can go swimming and to the gym. I stayed in october so couldnt use the hotels outside pool.
Most of the people who worked there where rude and so unfriendly it made me feel unwelcome also if you have children you can only swim between certain times (in the outside pool you can swim when ever you want) however when it was the 'children swim' they had a water arobics class on which we werent even warned about. The fitness center just seems to not care about the hotel guests at all and really needs sorting out
But the hotel is amazing

Very nice hotel that we visited using a late rooms special offer. We dined in a couple of nights and the food and breakfasts were very nice and the service was very good. Meals were reasonabley priced (around £30 for 3 courses) and good quality. Rooms were large and clean and comfortable. The fitness centre and spa was very well equipped with state of the art kit and was free to use, with the large pool, for hotel guests. Warm outdoor pool with attractive gardens and with a small childrens play area which would cater for most families. Close to the beach and local bus stops and about a £10 taxi ride from St Helier.

Room Tip: Back rooms overlook the gardens and pool whilst front rooms overlook the beach and sea.

We stayed 3 nights on a bargain break. We liked the excellent and attentive service, the wonderful position and view of the bay, and the very good food. We were not so keen on the ambiance created by the elderly clientele, or the fact that our room (especially the bathroom) was ridiculously overheated with no means of turning it down.

We visited this hotel on a cold wet September day and immediately found a warm welcome. This venue had been recommended to us by local residents as providing a good value for money afternoon tea and so it was. We were seated in a small lounge area with very comfortable chairs and overlooking the beach. The tea consisted of a variety of sandwiches, two types of warm scones, cream and lovely jams. The cake selection was a variety of chocolate offerings, including very rich truffles and good brownies. I unfortunately can only cope with so much chocolate and would have liked a lemon sponge or a crisp florentine to have been added to the selection but my husband coped well. The cake display was topped of with fresh fruits. This was definitely an adult tea, not for children.
