Just spent a memorable week at the windmills hotel. We had a room with a balcony overlooking St Brelades Bay which was perfect. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the meals were very good with quick efficient service. The rooms were generally made up during breakfast. I cant fault anything wrong with this hotel and would give it 10 out of 10 in every department.

we have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Windmills Hotel having taken my mother in law for a short break. We can highly recommend the hotel, the proprieters are friendly and welcoming, the food is wonderful and the staff helpful and pleasant.
We will definitely be back and would book a room with a sea view next time to make the most of the stunning vista

Room Tip: pay that bit extra for a sea view

We went to 'Windmills on the 2nd October 2013 and had a fantastic holiday. The hotel was lovely with spectacular views over St Brelades Bay. The owners and staff of the hotel are very friendly and we had a junior suite with a beautiful view over the bay. We were half board and the food was very nice but if you went bed and breakfast there is a good selection of restaurants and as the island is small no where is too far. We would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly be returning.

Room Tip: Definitely need to have a room overlooking the bay

Our first visit to Jersey and the Windmills - we brought my mother for a short break. The coveted sea view rooms were all taken, so we had two rooms together at the side of the hotel. These were quiet, clean and attractively furnished.. When I found the thick duvet to be too hot ,I was given a top sheet and light blanket to put on the bed the second night , which was much more comfortable.
The great thing about this hotel is its location, overlooking the beautiful St. Brelades Bay.The views from the terraces and public rooms are breathtaking- the weather prevented us from enjoying this to the full, but it is a great place to relax with a drink and a good book.
We had dinner each evening. The menu was varied ,the food well presented and served by efficient friendly staff. Breakfast was also very good.
The downside was there was no place to walk from the hotel for an easy stroll - although the beach looks close, the way to it is down a winding hill, and steep on the way back. Be aware of this if you are not up to the climb.
We enjoyed exploring the island by car and saw some lovely scenery, but it seemed a bit "end of season" with several attractions already closed. Will come the beginning of September next time.

We stayed at the Windmills Hotel for the first time for 10 nights early in September. The hotel has a lovely welcoming feeling from the minute you walk through the door. Once having checked in we were taken to our room which had a magnificent view over St Brelades bay which is just a 10 minute stroll away. The proprietors, Steve and Jane Law are perfect hosts and the staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful. The food and service was excellent and everything was spotlessly clean. When chatting to our fellow guests it was lovely to find that many of them have been coming back to the hotel year after year which speaks for itself This was our first visit to Windmills but we will definitely be back.

Another fantastic stay at our favorite hotel , very relaxing ( as i have not long been out of hospital) and friendly. The food was exellent as always -- pity the weather was a bit inclement but didnt spoil our enjoyment , will certainly return again next year.

Room Tip: The rooms with a sea view are a must.

Easy to find with an outstanding view of St. Brelade's Bay. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Plenty of seating in the bar area and outside on the terrace. Very good choice of food on the breakfast menu and service very prompt. Our room had a good sized balcony with plenty of room for the sun loungers, chairs and a table. We also used the outdoor pool. There bus stop was a short walk away and buses appeared to be running regularly. The only downside was the steep walk back up the lane from St. Brelade's Bay back to the hotel which might be offputting to the less able. Would definately reccomend this hotel as a lovely place to stay.
