we were visiting jersey for a whole week for our son's wedding wanting both self catering units and B&B - Windmills were most accommodating. They froze 2013 prices for us, changed our bookings without a quibble, got massive discount on the ferry crossings, and when we were there they coped admirably with all of us even though we were celebrating in style and noisy sometimes. couldn't fault the bookings, welcome, service, rooms, food - all excellent and stunning views of St Brelade's Bay too! Highly recommended

Room Tip: go for a sea view room it's well worth it; rooms at the back may be subject to noise from ewarly...

This hotel is beautifully sited - overlooking St Brelade's Bay and with a seaview room (very comfortable) could hardly be bettered.
All staff are exceptionally courteous and well trained by the devoted proprietors who, obviously, are anxious to please and are very professional about everything. The kitchen provides very high quality food at all times of the day in a very comfortable restaurant and lounge facility.
We much appreciated the peaceful surroundings and have no hesitation in recommending this great hotel.

Room Tip: Book early. We hope to return, maybe next year. Correction sorry, there was no fitness centre but c...

I have just returned from a week at Windmills hotel, for a family wedding. We had the 3 bedroom apartment room 57, and this could not have been better, such a great view and so easy for the children to play on the patio and go swimming. The maid service was excellent especially for self catering. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I would definately return, I hope soon.

Room Tip: make sure you pick a room with sea view

My husband and myself have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Windmills hotel in jersey. We arrived on Saturday the 3rd of May 2014, and one of the excellent staff helped us carry our suitcases in and from that moment on the staff were excellent, and nothing was to much trouble, from the cleaning staff up to the hotel owners themselves, I cannot say a bad word.
Our room had a balcony looking out over the lovely gardens and swimming pool all of which was so well looked after and super clean.
We were on half board stay, the breakfasts were lovely and as for the evening dinners they were excellent, with a vey wide choice every day. You also know the food is excellent when you see the owners family eating in the restaurant as you.
We will definitely be returning to the Windmills hotel and I would recommend it to any one wishing to have a holiday in jersey

Room Tip: Pick a room with a balcony and sea view

We stayed at the windmills on the 3rd of may for three nights .It was a lovely hotel with the best view in jersey in our 0pinion.The staff are friendly especially Johnny and kate.If your looking for a quiet location this is the one for you. One tip is if you don't mind using busses the number 15 bus stops at the top on the main road a 2 minute walk away which can take you into St Auburns or St Hellier for £1.80 or going the other way to the airport for £1.30.We payed extra for a sea view room I must say it was well worth the extra absolute brilliant view. We had just booked b and b but had two evening meals in the resteraunt well worth the money. All in all a fantastic hotel and hope to return there next year.

Room Tip: Pay extra for a sea view room you wont regret it.

We found Windmills by chance in 2011 for a family visit, and have returned every year since. It has never failed us. Comfortable and welcoming; superb views and a peaceful location. The view on its website is the view you get from the room (if you book a sea view), no elaboration or fancy photography. The proprietors, Steve and Jane Law, and their staff - many of whom return season after season, are superb, friendly and helpful whilst not being overwhelmingly so. Windmills is like the image of the swan; it works so smoothly and you do not see the working away underneath (as it should be). The food is terrific value and beautifully prepared and presented, with plenty of options on half board. Each year there are small differences which just makes the very good even better. To those who complain about the walk to the beach, it is a matter of choice. If you want a comfortable, friendly, well-run hotel with a superb view of the prettiest beach in Jersey, this is it. The view is the clue. If you want to be next to the beach, stay further down the hill. But you will miss out. We have already booked to return next year.

Room Tip: Has to be a sea view for best effect.
