We had a balcony room at the Windmill, and the views of the bay were breathtaking. The food was excellent and the staff brilliant. The Hotel is just about the best value in the bay area, but the bay location is expensive.

In summary, we would definately go to The Windmills and Jersey again. One of the best holidays we have had in the UK in terms of weather, location, food and service.

We stayed in one of the self contained apartments at this hotel. The accommodation was outstanding, we did not have to worry about getting to the shops for essentials because everything was provided. The location was superb, had a wonderful view of St. Brelades Bay and what a joy to wake up too. Very clean and the staff were very helpful. We only eat once in the restaurant and felt this was the only thing which let us down. The food was standard and the layout of the restaurant did not help create a warm ambience. Having said that we would definitely return to this hotel again. Local buses run every 15 mins and this hotel is an excellent base to explore Jersey.

Had a wonderful weekend at Windmills. Lucky with the weather. Location perfect with beautiful views over the bay. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful could not fault
any of them.Lovely Swimming Pool excellent and the bar terrace out of this world.
Breakfast was superb. Lovely to be waited on. Minor point would have liked to have seen a little better selection of fresh fruit

Would we go back. YES. If you could guarantee the weather. Why go elsewhere?

Room Tip: Avoid rooms above kitchen. Noisy if you like to stay in bed.

Returned once again to this lovely hotel for a 7 day stay-- the views, the service, the hospitality are second to none with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The weather was superb- cant wait to return in September.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the gardens, pool and the lovely bay cannot be beaten.

This family run hotel is a real joy. Had a double room with fantastic sea views across the bay with a balcony on which you could sit out.
The breakfasts were excellent. We only ate once at the hotel in the evening which was a disappointment. I had a pie which was so so and in fact was a bit dry. The meals were in fact very average and lacked finesse.
That is the only negative however. All the staff were charming.
There is a small library which has two computer terminals which are free to use as is the wi fi.
Hotels in Jersey can be expensive but this was real value for money.
There is a steep road to walk down to the bay which one might want to consider but the location is lovely. There are also a number of fine eating establishments in the area and has a lovely atmosphere without it being over the top.
