Quite unplanned night out with friend - admittedly have got to know the owner/chef to a degree recently...
So we went to the restaurant.
immediately met - really like the intimacy of the set-up/lay out - by Paul et at and seated amidst a relatively new punchy/fresh green & material led decor...
Starters were perfect; goats cheese parcels & scallops - both with sufficient/required garnishes and spreads.
Mains were very much the same; well presented, thoughtfully constructed - I had the Pea Risotto which surpassed any of my expectations. I love risotto but it is offered so poorly often. My companion had the Vegetarian Samosa - which although delightful & flavoursome proved rather too much.
Sadly - respectfully - we passed on desserts. We were however served too very succinct Irish Coffees [so many places fail on this].
Perfect evening and shall frequent again as often as possible.
