A well situated hotel close to all the amenities and ideal for exploring the island. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed with a great bathroom (room 57) . Lots of good restaurants close by

My wife and I recently stayed at the Revere in Jersey. The hotel was excellent, well situated and with extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly staff. I had the best steak and the best calves liver I have tasted anywhere in Dorans restaurant. Thank you for a great stay.

Room Tip: Our room at the front was perfectly quiet.

This hotel has a good location, being handy for the beach, the town and also the bus to the airport.
It is a 3 star, so you can't expect anything 'out of this world', but it is good. It is an old building, which is being kept in good working order.
We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a four-poster room - the room was a decent size and we had a lovely jacuzzi bath. The downside to the room we got was that it was on the ground floor, close to the hotel offices, which meant that it got a little noisy early on. Not great if you're looking for a lie-in when you usually get up for work at 6am daily.... Also, the room was quite dark, as it didn't get much light from the window. Nothing major, but meant we had to have all the lights on and didn't really know what the weather was like until we left the hotel each morning. Also, we has to ask for the smoking area to be moved as when we opened the windows, we were blasted with cigarette smoke - we asked, and it was sorted.
We only stayed B&B but the breakfast was ok - nothing special (and unlike some other Jersey hotels, there was no emphasis on local food and we missed the Jersey Royals that have been on offer when we've stayed elsewhere....). If you're a vegetarian, you can ask for eggs for breakfast.
The bar was decent and not overpriced. We didn't try the restaurants, and sadly it was a little too cool to use the swimming pool when we stayed.
All in all, if what you want is a solid 3 star hotel, in St Helier, in a place that is convenient for everything on offer, this hotel does that. If you want a seaview, this isn't the place for you but you will pay a lot more for that elsewhere....

Room Tip: Room 17 is ideal if you want a ground floor room, and like to get up early....

Stayed here for 4 nights for my birthday ,,, the hotel decor is lovely and cosy feeling , the staff were all really friendly , didn't eat in the restaurant as the vegetarian selection was minimal but chef did tell us on our last night he would of cooked me anything I wanted , heard the food in there was lovely from the other guests .. Would definitely stay there again ,

Two old guys on a 6 day break, what a find. All the staff were very attentative, very well mannered, their uniforms allways spotless. The bedoom was clean as was the bathroom. The bathroom was a bit small, but who spends their holiday in a bathroom?. We were on half board and were very pleased with all the meals. The choice of menue each evening was quite surprising. The wine list was very comprehensive and would satisfy all pallets. Thank you Mihai, Alexandra,Hassen, and Flavia for making our first stay in Jersey so memorable. We will be back again. Richard B

This hotel is over priced and has a general shabby look and feel about it. It is located close to the town center and sea front. The shower was average at best and the room not clean to the extent that one would expect. A hair was on the bath on my arrival and still there three days later.
Staff were generally nice but there was not the warm welcome one would expect from the small island which is Jersey.

Room Tip: look for cheaper hotels on the same street and get the same service.

Most enjoyable stay, all the staff my wife and had dealings with were polite friendly and extremely helpful. We really enjoyed eating in the candlelight restaurant and dorans next door.If you do visit the candlelight you must order a drink at the lovely ornate wooden bar and meet Tony the best barman on Jersey, hes a great character. My wife has bad knees and we were put 3 flights up with no lift. When approached reception and requested a room lower down they found us a lovely ground floor room and had all our luggage brought down while we strolled round the boat show.We could'nt have asked for more.
