“great way to see Jersey”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

For our first (But definitely not last) visit to Jersey.we decided to book the char-a-banc tour. As it happened the day we chose rained non-stop so we were very pleased to keep dry. Our guide and driver Eddie (the silver fox!) was excellent and had a fund of interesting and amusing stories. We came away with a realistic idea of life on Jersey as he was able to tell us all about how to get work and homes on the island (Not easy) What a brilliant system they have for benefits, housing and NHS etc. Mainland UK should adopt the ideas straight away! The poor weather did mean we couldn't see everything but we were not at all disappointed. There were coffee and lunch breaks and photo opportunities and the best was being picked up and dropped at our hotel. We also had a hire car which proved useful but the coach tour was a highlight of our short stay on Jersey.

“Well Worth It”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

Being my first time to Jersey (and it was raining), both my wife and I opted for the Castle View and Lighthouse bus tour. We both thoroughly enjoyed bot tours back to back and the driver was excellent. Nothing was a problem for him and we stopped regularly for photos, and a bite to eat on the Castle View tour.

“Brilliant way to see Jersey”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

We would highly recommend a bus tour of Jersey over hiring a car due to the narrowness of the roads, plus you cannot compete with the knowledge of the driver either who can tell you many fascinating facts as he transports you around the island.
They also stop for a meal break and many photo opportunities as well.

“Island Day tour”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

Fantastric way to see the island if you don't have much time to do it yourself.
Our tour guide Barry was brilliant, he obviously knows the island and its history well and made the whole day very interesting and enjoyable.

“A really good introduction to the island”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

We went on this tour on our first full day, and were glad we did. Twenty Pounds each may sound like a lot, but for that we saw the entire coastline, were away from 10 until 4.30, and learned an enormous amount about the island. It helped us decide what to do during the rest of the week, and as such was invaluable.

Great thanks should go to our driver, who answered questions on housing, the economy, residency requirements and history with aplomb, as well as advising us that Alan Wicker was a grumpy old sod (thought as much) and that the ice cream kiosk near a popular attraction should be run by Sam 'n' Ella! The pub we were taken to for lunch was very good too.
