Myself & my partner have just stayed at Banjo for my 40th birthday.....we were given a free upgrade to a Leslie room which was so lovely of them, Although we enjoyed our one night stay we found the room didn't have the wow factor that we were expecting for £145 per night. Don't get me wrong, it was a lovely room but expected a bit more luxury, first of all the carpet was very hard almost like walking on a cheese grater, unfortunately they do not provide slippers and we found it quite painful on the feet to walk on bare foot. The bathroom was spotless but the mechanism of the plug in the sink was broke so had to take the whole thing out, the shower was nice but didn't seem to be a power shower which I would also expect from a room at this price, the bath was very deep but not long enough for a good stretch out & the free mini bar did not stock any snacks at all even though this was stated on the room description. Come the early hours of the next morning we were woken by a bin truck collecting rubbish and the noise was rather annoying at 6am. That's the negatives over......the breakfast however was superb, couldn't fault it, very refreshing having a fruit compot with warm croissants, brioche, ham & cheese & freshly squeezed orange juice & coffee. We had a nice stay but for the price of the room I'm afraid was not worth it.
