We stayed at the Banjo recently and could not fault the Hotel in any way. There are four guest bedrooms in this Hotel and we stayed in Edith. It was spotlessly clean and had a large en suite room with very good quality fittings. I like how the owners have refurbished this former Gentlemens residence with good taste and high quality furnishings. There are some lovely touches in the rooms such as a Nespresso machine and complimentary well stocked fridge. We had evening meal in one of the restaurants where the food was exceptional. Whilst there it was the Jersey food festival. The chefs crab soup was to die for. I would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel to family and friends and to anyone reading this review. It is also centrally situated in St. Helier therefore close to all the shops and bars.

Room Tip: We stayed in Edith but I am sure the other rooms will be as nice.

Well located in St.Helier next to markets, main shopping streets and easy walk to bus station. Fabulous restaurant. Only 4 rooms but all individual and very well equipped. King sized bed so comfortable. Room service continental breakfast really great. Staff very friendly and eager to please. A memorable 7 day stay.

Room Tip: Stayed in "Edith" room. Quiet at the back and very spacious.

We have been to Jersey many times but this was our first visit to Banjo...... And what an amazing evening it was.
It has really cool decor with an amazing cocktail bar, would particularly recommended the passion fruit mojito and the soljito!
The restaurant has a great atmosphere serving delicious food with plenty of variety- of course fantastic fresh seafood.
Would highly recommend Banjo if you are looking for something a little more special. We will most definitely be back!!!

Just four rooms, but what a treat to finish dinner and then retire to bed. The room was beautifully furnished, with one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. Free wifi, Bose iPod/iPhone dock, complimentary mini bar, tea and nespresso coffee making facilities. Lovely bathroom with separate bath and shower, plus bathrobes. Great staff, overall a lovely experience. My only complaint is that the carpet in the room is too hard on bear feet!

Myself & my partner have just stayed at Banjo for my 40th birthday.....we were given a free upgrade to a Leslie room which was so lovely of them, Although we enjoyed our one night stay we found the room didn't have the wow factor that we were expecting for £145 per night. Don't get me wrong, it was a lovely room but expected a bit more luxury, first of all the carpet was very hard almost like walking on a cheese grater, unfortunately they do not provide slippers and we found it quite painful on the feet to walk on bare foot. The bathroom was spotless but the mechanism of the plug in the sink was broke so had to take the whole thing out, the shower was nice but didn't seem to be a power shower which I would also expect from a room at this price, the bath was very deep but not long enough for a good stretch out & the free mini bar did not stock any snacks at all even though this was stated on the room description. Come the early hours of the next morning we were woken by a bin truck collecting rubbish and the noise was rather annoying at 6am. That's the negatives over......the breakfast however was superb, couldn't fault it, very refreshing having a fruit compot with warm croissants, brioche, ham & cheese & freshly squeezed orange juice & coffee. We had a nice stay but for the price of the room I'm afraid was not worth it.
