Hotel is great location and very clean. Staff and food good. The only fault is the rooms that we paid extra for are nice but you will not sleep as the bars and clubs do not close until the early hours of the morning and you will hear all the noise of the street. They seem to have a lot of Hen and Stag weekends.

The spa is great.

I haven't felt inclined to write a review before although I often use trip advisor to get info on where I am going on holiday and the hotels. I must say this hotel impressed me no end, you have the old charm of the original hotel restaurant and bar and the luxury of the modern yet comfortable new part. We ate in both Cafe Zephyr and The Grill and would recommend both of them, we also had a mud rasul in the spa which was very enjoyable. We stayed in a platinum room with balcony overlooking the harbour which made the whole stay feel that little extra special, the room was large and very comfortable and beautifully decorated, it even had a tv over the bath. I will definately use this hotel again in the future.

Just returned from a week's break at The Royal Yacht and have only good comments. Great location. In spite of what may be regular Friday and Saturday night craziness, with police cars parked facing the hotel (which was a bit concerning), we heard nothing from our room once the balcony door was closed, and with so many different bars and activities going on every night, our sleep was never interrupted. Great spa, lovely staff. The only slightly negative thing would be the despite the staff all being lovely and very professional, we came across nobody local so were not able to ask for advice on local beaches etc. But otherwise it was a fantastic stay despite the weather, and if we go back then there's only one hotel we would consider!

We had a great stay in this hotel ;Very efficient, and friendly, service, Spa and swimming pool wonderful. Breakfast first class. Spotless throughout. We had a room in the old part of the hotel overlooking a side- street and were not troubled by any noise from the open-air seating at the front of the building which we had noted had been commented on by other reviewers. We will certainly return to this hotel on our next visit to Jersey.

This hotel is centrally located with a taxi rank in the square in front of the hotel and the very efficient bus station just around the corner, a very short walk away.
I could find no fault with this hotel during our stay. Several reviewers have complained about noise at night, but in this respect we were lucky that we were in the old part of the building in an inside room overlooking the inside courtyard. If you have a room at the front of the hotel facing the square with the outside seating below I can understand that it could be noisy. During the weekend of our stay there was a Polish festival in the square which went on late into the evenings which combined with the hotel's outdoor cafe and bar seating made for a very lively atmosphere. So if you happen to be there on such a weekend, sit on your balcony and enjoy it.
The hotel is immaculate and everywhere was spotlessly clean.
The buffet breakfast was excellent. and well presented. There were plenty of staff at breakfast who were not only super efficient and attentive but even smiled at each other!
All the hotel staff deserve a special mention for their professional, helpful and friendly service. The all deserve to be proud of their performance and of the way the hotel is run. A hotel is only a good as its staff and, in my opinion, this is why this hotel is so highly regarded by reviewers.

Stayed here for a long weekend with friends celebrating her 50th birthday. From the time you enter the hotel you are looked after . The decor and attention to detail is second to none. The room are huge with very comfy beds and pillows.
The breakfast was to die for catering for everyone with toast real orange juice full cooked breakfast pastries fresh fruit cereal bars fresh bread I could go on and on.
you have full use of the indoor pool and spa with sauna and treatment rooms.
The evening meal in the Zeffa bar was huge and reasonably priced.
Take my advice if you are planning to go to this hotel and book early as it does get booked very quickly...
