My husband and I, and his sister stayed here for a week. We booked through Jersey Travel Service, but specified this hotel due to the trip advisor "advice" .
We feel it does offer all they said they would, except that there are no ground floor rooms so all bedrooms require you to climb stairs. The three of us are of limited mobility so this was a bit of a problem. But to use any of the rooms you had to negotiate at least a flight of stairs. We would have liked more information about this before booking.
Having said that, everything else was very good. The manager was very helpful and booked (for no charge) our coach and boat trips. Breakfast was large cooked breakfast, boiled eggs or croissants. I am a vegetarian and had grapefruit, cereal and toast. The breakfast was good, but some of it pre cooked, so warmed through and a bit tough. But again overall good.
Beds, showers and rooms all fine, decor french farm type. Spotlessly clean and all the usual niceties you would hope for.
Very good for the bus which is just round the block.
The manager's tip was: Jersey closes more or less on a Sunday, so to avoid wasting a day, go on one of the island's coach trips. We did this with a co. suggested by the Manager, the driver was very informative and very helpful. We would definately recomend this.
Would we go again? It would only be the stairs that would put us off due to our lack of mobility. Otherwise yes.
