Over all we enjoyed our stay at The Mayfair Hotel. Its location is ideal for town, Howard Davis Park and good restaurants can be found nearby. There is a small car park for cars and you can hire a car from Reception. The gym staff were friendly & helpful and run a comprehensive gym with separate cardio suite. The indoor pool was an added bonus as we travelled to Jersey at a colder time or year, and other places we have previously stayed at only have an outdoor option.

There is a lovely sun terrace which is comfortable and a great sun-trap. At breakfast there were plenty of options including cereals, continental options (bread rolls, croissants, ham & cheese, etc), fruit and cooked breakfast options also.

There are 2 computers available in the lobby with internet. The hotel Reception was happy to hold our luggage (as we arrived early) and also held the bags for us after we checked out. They even offered us a voucher for free hot drinks in the café on our arrival, as we arrived before our check-in time which was much appreciated, although the food we were going to purchase to go alongside the drinks was quite expensive so we settled for just the drinks.

The choice of music at breakfast consisted of the most eclectic mix I have ever heard; Johnny Cash, "Baby It's Cold Outside" and Green Day were an unexpected combination (although personally a bit of 'air guitar' over breakfast never goes amiss!)

Although the hotel was good value for money, the slightly dated room was a little disappointing alongside the steam room in the swimming pool area which was out of order at times. Also, beware - It is a bit of a maze - Go in the wrong lift and you won't find your room again!

It was a little noisy in the room we stayed in, due to the traffic outside, trying to sleep initially was tricky until we adjusted to it. Also the majority of guests appeared to be in a 'more mature' age bracket to us, but would we stay again? Yes.

Came for a northern soul weekend.
Hotel in a good location.
Food was edible but it's a three star hotel so nothing great.
The staff were friendly and helpful as there were a lot of people staying.
This weekend was a fantastic weekend and cheap as chips.
I really had a great time.
Hotel wise it's a bargain for somewhere to put your head nothing bad to report at all.

An excellent hotel. The staff go out of their way to help you and took time to speak to my young children. Breakfast was lovely and dinner, although a bit 1980's was good too. Brilliant pool and cafe. Situated right in the centre of St Helier with off street parking. The place is strikingly clean and excellent value for money.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front of the hotel are near the road but it quietness after about 11pm

This is a very comfortable hotel, well located for seeing all Jersey has to offer. Walking distance to St.Helier Town centre & bars & restaurants.
Good Breakfast. Rooms are clean & comfortable. The staff are very helpful, Especially Caroline.
I lost my phone on the flight over and Caroline went out of her way to help me to try & locate it. Unfortunately never recovered it but a special Thank You to Caroline for all her efforts, it was really appreciated. We will definitely return to Jersey and will stay at the Mayfair again because of the welcoming Staff & Especially Caroline. Good hotels are made special by the staff and I recommend this Hotel to any one travelling to Jersey.

We did find the bar closed too early when I stayed another tine without my son. As residents I thibk they should have stayed open abit longer but he said if it was busier he would have but it was only us 5 in there.. ovo we didnt tip him enough. Hehehe.
