Stayed here with my girlfriend for a couple of days. Jersey is so nice despie its weather.
Worth visiting the Wartunnels,Glass of Church,Elisabeth's Castle Devil's Hole and the wildlife park.Dissapointed about the night life In jersey as clubs close at 2.
About the hotel..Nice location, facing the sea(stayed in room 29 which had one amazing sea view) not far from downtown where the good restaurants are. Breakfasts were rich, more than we needed like diversity.Good dinner and very filling for such a small price.
Free wifi in the lounge area, good speeds.Professional Staff in reception and restaurant, our room well kept and very nice for the given weather was the swimming pool that by the way had an amazing sea view and we were offten swimming alone although hotel seemed very busy.
We had one overall good stay here.
As a hint, pay extra for the sea view rooms, they worth every penny, waking up with the sea literally in you face will just make your (holly)day.

Room Tip: Room 29,amazing view and good size

After having a lovely holiday at this hotel last year,we decided to come back this year.W e had an absolutely fabulous time.We had a lovely balcony room which was spacious, very clean with a superb view. What really makes this an hotel you want to go back again & again is the genuine friendship and helpfulness you get from the staff. The food was varied and plentiful especially the breakfasts.Jersey is a lovely island and the hotel has a bus stop outside.also it is only 15min walk into the town centre. We would like to thank Philip and all his staff for making our hoilday so enjoyable.

Room Tip: It is worth paying a little bit .more to have a sea view room

I can say no more than all the other reviewers on here a lovely hotel in a lovely location exceptional food (except the shepherds pie) and staff very very polite and helpfull. No car park so beware of this but we were on coach tour so didnt bother us.
Ask for sea view you might have too pay extra but thats the same where ever you go. It is very rare to stay in a hotel like this for the price we paid keep up the good work.
if visiting elizabeth castle check when cannon will be fired and parade, i think this is always at twelve/ one clock in the morning as this will enhance your visit too the castle a place well worth visiting and allow the whole day. even if you can walk accross the causeway it may be worth getting duck bus as this is a lovely experience too, Didnt think much too jerey experience and actually if you get the little train from st hellier to st auban bay from liberation square they tell you all the history anyway the same as jersey experience. Jerey tunnels well worth the visit and money and book an island tour if you are not driving. Car hire place in town so remember your licence.
Enjoy Jersey a lovely island and one day we will return but dont think you will get a bargain on booze and cigs but better too buy duty free on ferry. If travelling by condor ferry from poole travel sickness sufferers beware although it is the fast ferry still takes 4 and a half hours and stops over in guernsey and very rocky journey especially if the seas are rough so take your travel sickness pills with you. Good service and food though and an enjpyable journey Condor will appoint you seats and this might mean they give you seats in different parts of the ferry, not very helpfiull so if they do that sit anywhere and stay put untill they move you,
Hotel closes end of October untill March so you may not be able to stop there this year now but they are part of the morvan group and they have other hotels on island and if they are up yo the same standard you wont go far wrong, thanks too all the lovely staff for making our holiday so complete

We stayed here for our holiday, we were disappointed with our room as the view was awful, looking out onto another part of the hotel which made it quite dark and dingy, no lovely sea views like some of our fellow travelllers. The room although very small was clean. The food and service however was very good and they made us most welcome. The hotel was situated on the sea front and had lovely walks surrounding it and was a short walk into St Hellier.

Agree with all the reviews above. Room spotless and without doubt the best bed in home or hotel I have ever experienced--wish I could have taken it home! Room spotless and well serviced. The dining room again manned by excellent staff and the breakfast good. My sister used the pool and brought back a glowing report. We had a room on the ground floor with sun loungers accessed by a french window. It had a faulty lock when we arrived which was dealt with immediately, but as the maintenance man was not on till the morning, we were given free access to the hotel safe. The helpfulness and friendly efficient service was second to none, and I have travelled to many hotels and many countries.
We ate at a nearby seafood restaurant as we like to go out in the evening but may change this next time!
Well done to all the staff. You are a credit to the island and it's friendly people.

Room Tip: We had room 12 and I think the rooms on either side would have access to the little patio with sun l...

We were disappointed with the hotel because we accidentally booked a hotel without a car park. We asked if the staff could move us to one of their other hotels and the person on reception (I think he was Phillip) was incredibly helpful, polite and efficient. He arranged a move to the Samares Coast up the road and it did not seem to be any trouble at all. As it too late to transfer that evening, we remained at the Fort for one night and have to say that it was spotlessly clean and breakfast was fine.

We have just got back home from a wonderful week in this hotel. The young manager and his staff were outstanding and were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel as most people say was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. I do have to add a special thank you to John the Maintenance man as without him our holiday could not have been enjoyed. He sorted the problem that my husband had with his CPAP machine so once again John THANK YOU. We would reccommend this hotel to all our friends and will definately be going back next year

Room Tip: rooms 1 to 4 on 1st floor overlook the beach
