“For leisure and business, a good choice”
Reviewed 31 July 2013

My wife and I spent 7 nights here in July 2013. Acts as both a business hotel and a leisure hotel, with the Bohemian restaurant setting a high standard on the ground floor. Scantily clad pool seekers mix with groups of business people hunched around laptops - this is obviously where some of the resident business community of St. Helier come for their meetings. Our room 317 was at the end of a corridor, comfortable and clean, We had a hire car for the week, only used half a tank of petrol and maximum speed limit on the island of 40mph means its a great place for Ford to run in a load of Fiesta cars, and the free parking at the hotel close to the town centre was a bonus. Never had a problem getting parked there. Breakfast was good, never ate in the hotel in the evening given an abundance of choice of eateries, The outdoor pool was not large but was refreshing, only 5 sun loungers available. Large public areas, not much atmosphere. On arrival the show-round by one of the reception staff was informative and helpful. A good stay.

Room Tip: Don't ask for a sea view, it's a bit inland

Service, rooms, spa are all worth visiting. The hotel is great and when the sun is out, a cocktail on the terrace is top! Bathrooms in the rooms are off great quality and the staff could not do enough for you. Awesome hotel

Good hotel, good food, good treatments, good rooms, good location All Good.
Service was a little slow for bar meals and for breakfast. Other than that service was very good.
Service of rooms was BRILL, they even made and unmade a bed for us when we left the room in order for us to make full use of space. nothing wasa problem.

Room Tip: We stayed in the suite, ideal if you have a small group as you can use the space to meet .

Spent 5 days in July this year at this fabulous hotel. We had a suite - two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The beds were really comfortable and the rooms were spotless. It's the first hotel I've stayed at recently where they changed the towels twice a day (without having to request this) We loved the fact that we were shown round the hotel when we arrived - it was a great service. The staff were brilliant - very attentive and couldn't be any more helpful. The breakfast was delicious. We had a pedicure and Suzanne was brilliant...this was a great hotel ad we had a brilliant relaxing holiday here...and freshly made shortbread delivered to our rooms every evening!

Room Tip: Take the suite of rooms - they face on to the outdoor pool

We had a junior suite which was perfect, the bed was the comfiest I've slept in and the staff could not have been more helpful. The spa was lovely and the Bohemia restaurant served great food and cocktails

Very nice hotel. Rooms fairly small but well presented. General ambience around the hotel and quality of staff excellent. Restaurant and bar area very good too. A small pool serves as a sun trap in the afternoon and evening. More suited to adults than families. Highly recommended.
