Mini Moon

This was booked as a gift following our wedding. Very friendly welcome, the room and bathroom was spotless with a modern class room. The restaurant/bistro was amazing! The cocktails were fresh and imaginative. The spa was a bit small but had all the amenities expected.

Stayed here in June with the missus
For 2 nights
Nice touches like the shortbread at night In.Room
Nice outside pool but the SPA was awful
Not a spa hotel- 2 tiny little steam rooms and NO jacuzzi
A Pool inside which was so dark you couldn't see
I don't think this hotel should be sold as a Spa hotel at all
Best thing about it was location and the huge Bed
Would I return, only if they had a good deal on!

Don't be put off by the location opposite a multi-story car park and public toilets. Unassuming from the outside it is spotless 5 star inside. Our bedroom was smart and well appointed. Yes the air conditioning was uncontrollable, but what hotel room isn't the same?

Continental breakfast was included in our package and was high quality and would be typical for a hotel across the water in France. They were able to provide soya milk and gluten free toast, a huge bonus for my wife. Cooked options up to and including a full Jersey breakfast were available at additional cost up to £9.95.

We did not eat in the Bohemia restaurant. This has a Michelin star but was too expensive for our tastes, starting at £59 a head.

We used the Bohemia Bar for one evening meal and drinks most evenings. Prices were competative for this type of establishment and service and quality of food was excellent.

Every member of staff was friendly and helpful whether it was the cleaners, bar staff, reception or waitresses.

Car parking space is limited, and access to the upper area narrow and steep, so Don't bring your Rolls-Royce here! That said there was only one occasion when it was full and we had to temporarily use the car park across the road. Please note the between 8:00am and 5:00pm you need to display a Paycard (scratchcard) which you can buy from most grocery stores singly or in books of 10.

We did not use the Spa so cannot comment on this.

Overall we had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay. I would recommend it.

We stayed in the The club and spa hotel for a week at the end of June, check in was quick but very impersonal with no chat, we were not shown to our room, which we would have expected, the room was lovely, the AC was great, however the bed is starting to show its age and is starting to sag, housekeeping were great and the room was looked after every morning and turn down each evening, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly, the indoor pool is nice, small and a bit dark, staff not very friendly again no chat, overall it is a lovely hotel, very quite, we would have told a member of staff of our experience in the hotel if at any stage during the week we had been asked, but we never once asked was very thing ok or were we having a nice time.

Room tip: we had a studio room which was very spacious and the bathroom was lovely

Very comfortable and kind staff, but if you don't like loud music at 23:30pm then it is not for you. We had a family holiday booked, expecting a quiet, relaxing week, but only on the first night loud music from a private function woke us and didn't let us sleep(after getting up in the early hours). It is advertised that the rooms are all meant to have high-quality sound proofing but they certainly are not. Let's hope the rest of the week is a lot better!

Rooms are quite small but very comfortable. The beds and bedding ate very high quality and a treat to sleep in. The main part of the hotel lacks a bit of atmosphere although the bar in Bohemia has more life and is very pleasant.
Has a nice spa.
