We arrived on the early flight from London approx. 9am, checkin wasn't until 3pm and they had made a note for us to check in early if the rooms were ready. Unfortunately we were advised they were unlikely to be ready, so off we went into town for a wander. We came back and used the spa facilities. There are no beds round the indoor pool only beanbags or beds for people having treatments. Didn't seem to be a great facility unless you were having a treatment. They did look after our bags for us, but we were made to feel like they were busy and as hotel guests we weren't as important as spa guests. We had a lovely afternoon tea in Bohemia - recommended to us by someone in the pool - the hotel reception didn't really go through any of the facilities or options available to us. I guess I just expected a bit more when they knew I was a travel agent and also rooms were £240 a night. The rooms were lovely with a big sliding glass door - this was a fabulous feature of the room. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! and the amenities in the room were good quality. Liked the shortbread and water at the turndown service. Breakfast was additional - but was good value for £9.95 for a full English, We then didn't eat any of the continental that was included in our rate - but I think for the price we paid English breakfast should have been included. There is also an outdoor pool which is great - comfy sun loungers. Be aware jersey has sunday trading so no shops are open and also I think Taxi's must be double the cost as it cost £14 on the way into St Helier and £21 on the return! Overall a lovely hotel and I would recommend but I think it was a bit overpriced for whats included. I wish i'd shopped around a bit but this was supposed to be a treat for our 40th birthdays. We didn't get made to feel very special
