The room we had was well appointed although the bathroom basin was cracked and the vanity mirror was coming loose as was the wall mounted bedside light. Well stocked mini bar and all very clean. Outside pool is in a tiny courtyard around the back, it's small! To call this a spa is misleading. The basement is where the pool is, no natural light, it's cold, very small with a jacuzzi seat at one end. One slightly steamy room and one smaller good steam room. That's it! No hot tub or sauna, no where to sit, it really shows you're in the basement, you also have to change in your room and walk through the hotel across the main foyer in your dressing gown, how stylish!
Continental breakfast was great and on the whole we managed to get most staff to smile and say hello, almost entirely staffed by eastern European's so long conversation or local knowledge was a no no.
Yes for location, room size, breakfast, car park.
No for the spa, attention to detail, not special enough to be a genuine 4 star.
