Well situated close to heart of St Helier. Picked as seened most suitable at the time on last minute and flight inc. However, if I went again I would pick coastal hotel - no good scenery from this hotel. Michelin star restaurant food was an absolute treat and delight - we had the 'lucky dip' - service here impeccable. However, not so good the following night in the Bar restaurant - very slow and waiter somewhat surly and seemed somewhat incompetent in stark contract to previous evening. Clean and room adequate but not special.

Sold as a 5 star property on Lastminute.com but service and facilities did not meet expectation set by that rating or the price paid.

Indoor pool was ingested and freezing cold. Housekeeping was inconsistent and poor. Dirty glasses in the bathroom, which too 3 hours to replace when reported. Removed all towels and didn’t replace them when room was serviced. No complimentary water in room on second day and on first day was only put in room after turndown.

It’s all small things, but I expect better for the price and the rating. Will not be going back.

The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are tidy and clean but our 'suite ' was no more than a family room with a king size bed and a put up bed,I've stayed in much nicer rooms in much cheaper hotels! For three ladies on a special weekend the room wasn't up to much!
The breakfast was ok but very basic continental one, other things could be had at extra cost. It was an ok stay. The best thing was the amazing Michelin restaurant attached to it!!!!

Recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and was happy with the accommodation. Bed was massive and very comfortable, shower was really powerful and room was tastefully decorated. Also used the spa facilities which includes a pool, couple of steam rooms, and jet shower, was an added bonus that I was the only person there at the time. There's also changing and shower facilities to save having to return to the room afterwards to get showered. My only criticism was the breakfast offering, would have preferred a hot selection to have been included in the price as I found the selection offered monotonous by the last day.

Super hotel. Great value and the staff are really friendly. The bar is nice with a good selection of drinks also. Perfect location for town. I would recommend for couples or solo visits. Didn’t see any children here but that’s not a bad thing!

This was my first visit to this hotel, and if I return to Jersey I would go again. A great central location in St Helier, with most things in easy walking distance, though if you drive from the airport as I did, I have to say it's not the easiest place to find - once you know where it is, then of course it's not at all difficult. The hotel itself doesn't have much parking, and most of it is up a steep and narrow slope at the back of the building - there's a multi-storey just across the street, and if I was running this hotel I would organize a special deal there for visitors with cars. That's the only thing I would do differently though - the food is amazing in the Bohemia restaurant, and the bar food is also pretty good. Rooms are well equipped and well maintained, the spa facility is excellent, and all the staff without exception are really nice people and helpful.
