The restaurant is a little outside St Helier's town centre so perhaps not so easy to find. However, it was just around the corner from our hotel so we noticed it in passing. Bollywood Bytes was an excellent find! Good and friendly service and the food was just superb! There are plenty of vegetarian options to choose from (good as I am veggie). My partner said very little during the meal with the exception of ordering more as the food was just so delicious. You will not find 'balti' on the menu, as the restaurant offers only authentic dishes. Our food was not greasy which was a relief as we have often had this in the past. It was possible to taste individual spices. We are both great fans of Naan bread and the naans served here were nothing short of divine! The restaurant is open a little later at night than most of St Helier's restaurants which close at 10pm. For us, this was exceptionally useful as 10pm closing time was a little early in our opinion. If you are staying in St Helier, we highly recommend eating here - you will not be disappointed. Bollywood Bytes has only been open for around five months so perhaps not many visitors have experienced eating there yet. Do go - it is definitely worth it!
