My wife and I stayed for a few nights leading up to the Easter holiday.
The hotel's location is terrific, fronting onto the harbour with great views out to the castle and across the bay and The town centre is a ten minutes stroll away from the hotel so everything in St Helier is on your doorstep. The traffic noise that can blight a seafront stay in Jersey is on the landward side of the hotel and isn't the problem it can be in other hotels.
The room was well proportioned and (fairly) well fitted out, the bed very comfortable. The rooms do feel a bit 'corporate' though and they're definitely a bit light on storage - some drawer units wouldn't go amiss.
Service generally was good with the exception of breakfast (dishes running out, waiting-on staff slow to bring tea & coffee). If we'd been here on business and on a tighter schedule this might have been more of an issue for us.
Overall though the niggles are small. We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again.More
