The rooms were lovely and the bed has to be the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The buffet breakfast was fab something for everyone from croissants to smoked salmon. We went as a family for the Camra beer festival so our two sons were with us and they thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. One of the downsides was the gym as it is very small. We ate in the hotel on two nights and had the set meal which I would recommend as when I ordered something off the main menu it was not as nice. One morning the breakfast was very busy but we were directed to sit down with a coffee and papers and did not wait long for a table. The staff were very pleasant although I have to say we did not have a great deal of interaction as this is what i like about a big hotel no-one is obvious but there when you need them.

Another wonderful stay- four visits in four consecutive years sums it up really!

We were lucky enough to be in suite and it was amazing- very large (with a lounge, bathroom and bedroom- all with tonnes of space) and wonderful sea views- we slept with the curtains open as it seemed a shame to shut it out! The bed was huge and very comfy.

The Hotel has recently been refurbished downstairs and it all looks gorgeous- the bar and restaurant have great views of Elizabeth Castle and the Marina (which look beautiful in the day and also when all lit up at night). The new Reception area especially is befitting for the Hotel.

All the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the Bar Staff. There was a group playing on Sunday evening and we very much enjoyed them, whilst sipping a pre dinner cocktail (the Mojitos are rather good!)

We had a meal in the restaurant one night and it was great- lots of choice, efficient staff and very tasty food- plus the previously mentioned views. Breakfasts were extremely good- plenty of variety.

The swimming pool is great- fairly small but as I was the only one in on two of the mornings (around 7am) this wasn't a problem at all. I especially liked the views of the Bay from the Sauna!

The location is obviously fantastic- a walk around the Marina is great any time of the day. St Helier is very close by (an easy walk). There is plenty of car parking- useful as we hired a car to explore further afield.

We are already planning a return visit!

We are still here but sadly leaving tomorrow. What a lovely hotel! Friendly, very attentive staff including room service and maintenance ( I locked the safe by accident )....at busy times they were a little pushed but nothing was too much trouble. Other reviews talk about issues at breakfast and of course it gets busy but waiting a minute to get buffet food replenished is hardly stressful! Breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice. We are dinner from the bar and restaurant menus and neither disappointed.
I would really recommend paying to ensure a breathtaking sea view... We had a spotlessly clean suite with the most amazing bed and bedding... Wonderful. I guess my only quibble would be the lack of a balcony but I imagine the apartments opposite may be compromised. That said you can sit on the terrace and watch the marina life and gaze at the turquoise sea....
If I was coming back to jersey this would definitely be my choice of hotel, not the prettiest of buildings but a fab interior.
About the area... St helier has a few nice bars and shops but the centre isn't open on Sundays. We walked to st aubin which is probably 4-5 miles and found The Boathouse which I strongly recommend for great mussels and beer/wine. We also went the the Oyster Box in st Bredales (get a bus from liberty square- fantastic service and prices). Beautiful restaurant, not cheap but spanking fresh fish and seafood and another great view.
All told a very lovely stay and we shall be sorry to leave :-(

We went to the Raddison after its new renovation for pre dinner drinks. The revamp is lovely however i am sad that the big fish tank has gone despite the occasional trouble it caused it was such a lovely feature.

Nice comfy seating areas and the live band and singer created a great atmosphere playing old school singalong classics.

One of out guests arrived late and even at half capacity, it took a good amount of time for someone to ask him if he would like a drink - by which time he had already gone to the bar and ordered one.

Otherwise nice atmosphere and i hope the bar can be used for locals as well as tourists as the outside terrace area i would imagine to be brilliant on a warm summer evening with the live band playing.

Hello, we're pleased you were impressed by our sparkling new look - we're very happy with it too! Our brand new feature in our lobby is a vintage painting of Bergerac's car which is a great talking point for our guests.

We're glad you got into the swing with the live music in The Waterfront bar. We're sorry to hear there was a slight delay in service. Our sunny terrace is a fantastic spot to while away a summer's evening and we hope you get another chance soon to enjoy a mellow glass of wine over marina views to the sound of live music - bliss!

Looking forward to your next visit :)

We spent a short break at this hotel which is conveniently situated about 10 minutes easy walk from the centre of St Helier. The hotel overlooks the sea. with a terrace that is very nice to sit out out on during the day or if the evening is warm.

The reception - almost all seem foreign - are efficient and helpful.

Our room was clean and adequate for its purpose except for one curious missing item. There is no chest of drawers in which to place clothing. This is limited to the wardrobe and an overhead shelf in it. The hotel ought to rectify this as it would be problematical for any guests on more than a 2 to 3 day break.

Cooked breakfasts are best avoided as they are canteen style and did not look or taste appealing. The cold fare - however - is fine.

In summary, would we recommend this hotel to stay in? Overall, yes.

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade to overlook the bay of St Helier.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time. We're so glad you enjoyed a relaxing drink on our south facing terrace - it's a great spot to soak up the Jersey sunshine as you watch the world go by. We take on board your comments about storage space in the bedrooms and we'll pass them onto our management team. We're delighted, however, that you would recommend us and we so look forward to your next visit :)

This hotel is average I would say. Like any large chain hotel it doesn't quite have the atmosphere you'd get with a more boutique hotel, and the feel was a little sterile. The corridors reminded me of a hospital and the decor in the rooms were plain and functional, rather than inspiring, though the rooms were spacious.
My room didn't overlook the sea, so it would certainly be worth asking for a sea-facing view (though I suspect these are much more expensive).
Breakfast was included in the price and again it was fine (nothing spectacular but did the job).
The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the wifi is fast.

There is a marina just outside the hotel and on a nice day it would make a lovely walk, so that is certainly a plus point.

Hello and thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear you found the atmosphere in the Hotel lacking. We do our utmost to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable and we usually receive such high praise about our facilities. In fact, we have very recently upgraded our public areas with a sparkling new restaurant, bar and terrace. An upgrade to a sea view room can occasionally be complimentary, subject to availability, and our guests often tell us it is well worth it. We hope you found time to stroll along the beautiful marina and we hope you give us another chance to wow you with our Yes I Can service and first class facilities.
