“Nice Waterfront Hotel”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

We stayed at this hotel for one week . The location is excellent especially as we had a room with sea view for which we paid extra. Our only niggle was that there was very little storage space for clothes as the wardrobe was small and there were only 6 very small drawers. Also there was no real dressing table unit just a desk so we felt our room was perhaps more suited to a business person staying for only one or two nights

Room Tip: Sea View is well worth the extra

Had stayed here last year and had really enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a drink in the sun late lunchtime or early evening.
When we visited for a long weekend the hotel was as good as we remembered. However over a three night stay we never managed to get a table on the terrace. The tables were often empty but reserved. We tried on the Friday Saturday and Sunday but to no avail.
I would recommend having a residents only section to the terrace or at least advising residents of the need to book.

Room Tip: Rooms with a sea view are good but the one we had only had a small window

Dear guest,

Thank you for your review of Radisson Blu Jersey, we are sorry to hear that you we're unable to find a space on the Terrace during your stay. We do take reservations mainly from residents in order to ensure they have a spot available when they return from a day of sightseeing around the island, we are more than happy to do this for all our guests should they wish to do so.

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed every other area of the hotel, and hope to welcome you back again next year!

Best wishes,
The Radisson Blu Team

I stayed here for 2 days and it had everything I asked for of a hotel and more. The location is brilliant, right on the sea front and very close to town. Plenty of restaurant choices around, however the hotel restaurant was very good. The staff found it a little difficult to comprehend unusual requests as they were all Eastern European, however they were friendly enough.

The room was large, with a nice bathroom and amenities. The bed was super comfy - I initially thought it would be too soft but it was actually extremely comfy with lots of pillows. Room temperature was easily adjustable. I did not find the room noisy and slept well both nights.

The restaurant food was OK - nothing spectacular but I think it would suit all tastes. The bar and restaurant was always busy. The breakfast was also a good spread - although again, always busy.

I would highly recommend this place - a great hotel and one I will hopefully come back to!

I cant find a fault about this hotel really, my boyfriend and I visited jersey for my 22nd birthday for the weekend at the end of march...we had a very friendly welcome and the staff were so helpful...we had a room on the third floor, inland view (wish I had see view room) but the room itself was a 10 out of 10 for me, the bed was by far the most comfortable bed ive ever slept on! The tele was not working when we arrived but as soon as I told the reception staff about the problem we had a maintenance guy up at our room trying to sort it out within 30 seconds of me telling the reception staff, which to me is fabulous service...unfortunately the tele did not get resolved but we were moved straight away to another room :)...the breakfasts wow! Cant fault it, one of the best buffet breakfasts ive eaten!...we arrived at the hotel in time for their opening of the new restaurant, which thankfully we managed to get a table for :) dinner was soooo good (slightly to posh for ne though ;) ) but once again couldn't fault it...the restaurant staff were lovely and were always on hand if you needed them.

So overall a highly recommended hotel for anyone staying in jersey, worth every penny! Good location, got everything you need on the door step.

Perfect location, glorious views on the beach marina and 16th century castle that is lit up at night! rooms were nice and clean toiletries were particularly nice and beds very comfy.

Location cant beat particularly if your coming in by ferry a short ten minute walk easily done with our luggage.

Did not really engage much with the staff as had no need and was out site seeing for our stay but they all seemed professional and approachable if we had needed too.

Only slight issue was the pool was quite small and there were alot of fitness fanatics there constantly, tried to use the pool on several occasions but to get to the pool you had to get through alot of young fitness instructors in the corridor which opened up onto the pool a bit too self conscious to do that so gave up luckily the beach was amazing and much more fun anyway

Room Tip: A view of the castle is a must one of the best hotel views Ive ever had

The hole hotel feels sole less and purpose built, which it is.

The rooms are functional and with a sea view offering an attractive scenery but they also feel sterile.

The breakfasts are good but again the restaurant lacks character.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu for a week while we were in Jersey to get married. Our room was spacious, very clean and well equipped, with a lovely sea view. We ate in the bar and had a couple of room service meals, and the food was excellent. What really made our stay special though was the staff. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they were ready to go the extra mile to help us. The ladies in the hair salon were fantastic, and coming back to prosecco and chocolates in our room on our wedding day was a lovely personal touch. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Well worth having a sea view!
