We (my wife, my three year old son and I) stayed here for one week. It was excellent. The staff are fantastic. The food is very good and better value than most local competition that we experienced. The location is also great. You will feel well looked after and they are understanding, indeed welcoming, of children. Thank you for making our holiday so good.

Went here for my 50th Birthday weekend and was not disappointed.
Definitely worth paying the extra for the sea view rooms.
Breakfast very comprehensive though a little pricey, evening meal about what you would pay for in town and of equal quality.
Beers a little limited and could do with expanding a little.
Staff courteous and efficient.
Rooms cleaned and furnished to the expected standard.
Décor a little lacking in inspiration but go on to the terrace and look out at the sun going down over the fort and WOW.

Room Tip: If coming via the airport use the very efficient bus service (every 15 mins) and just ask the driver...

This was a special evening with a particularly fabulous meal served in the 1 million pound redecoration project restaurant and bar area. We had a wonderful table joined by the chef who explained the food and wines selected to eat with it.

We started with thai fish cakes and locally caught scallops, followed by finely sliced smoked duck and pomegranite. Delicious! The main course was a perfect little fillet mignon made from best scottish beef and then a perfectly balanced cheeseboard. The finale was a chocolate cheese cake so light and set off with perfect sour cherries.

The waiting team were a joy hitting just the right balance of professionalism and friendliness and the chefs clear commitment to his food gave the whole evening an added dimension...

Super food, great venue and fabulous views over the marina and Elizabeth Castle.

Tremendous!

We left booking our 2014 holiday until really late and, of course, the cheaper hotels were fully booked. But the Radisson Blu, overlooking the sea (on one side) and the Elizabeth Castle and the millionaires' marina (on the other) had accommodation available - unsurprisingly, at the price! - and looked a delight. We'd not 'pushed the boat out', holiday-wise, for many years, so I went ahead with the booking for one week.
We were NOT disappointed!
The location, accommodation, the staff, the recreational facilities and the restaurants all exceeded our expectation, while the breakfast is the stuff of legends! (Tip! Have a good breakfast and you'll save a small fortune on lunch!). The hotel itself is modern, stylish and clean throughout.
Check-in and check-out, courtesy of concierge-supremo Marek Stempniewski and his friendly, efficient team (including Emily, Lindsy and Greg) was painless - well, as painless as it could be at these prices! - and swiftly accomplished. Indeed, the facility to sign for food and drinks, rather than paying via cash or plastic each time, made for an easier life and was efficiently accomplished. Quite why we were offered complimentary membership of the Club Carlson still bemuses us, but 10% off ALL food, drink and facilities was exceedingly welcome! Thank you, Radisson Blu - much appreciated!
The Radisson Blu is situated within easy walking distance of the town centre and, importantly for anyone not hiring a car, the excellent bus terminal. I rarely use buses in England, but as a cheap and efficient alternative to taxis (expensive - be warned!) or hire cars, the bus services couldn't be faulted.
We loved our first family trip to Jersey and will certainly return next year. BUT, whether we'll be able to afford to return to the Radisson Blu depends entirely on OUR finances and THEIR recognition that some family groups need incentivising with special summertime offers ...!

Room Tip: For the best views from your room, request either a sea view or a view across the marina. Both are s...

This was the first visit my husband and I took to Jersey for our 6 night honeymoon. The hotel was reached quickly from the airport and we soon realised it was a fantastic location. Nearby are restaurants, a cinema, gym etc. It is also only five minutes walk from the town centre.

We stayed in one of the sea view rooms and the outlook was truly stunning; it allowed us to watch the sunset over Elizabeth Castle and the marina from the comfort of our room. It was a real shame we didn't have a balcony to sit on so that we could enjoy the view in even more comfort. The bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a hotel but may be a little soft for some tastes. The high ceiling gave the impression of even more space than there is.

When it comes to food and the serving staff it was a really mixed bag. The breakfast selection was huge and refreshed regularly but often the staff gave the impression that they didn't care and I overheard one or two snide comments about other guests. The bar staff's attitude towards guests were also poor and when we made a complaint about one dish the response was simply 'oh yeah, we normally tell people not to order that!' This was very poor service in my opinion. The restaurant staff and food were ok but nothing to write home about.

Other members of staff were extremely helpful however and the reception staff made up for the failings of the serving staff. They arranged transport and day trips for us as well as providing lots of information.

On the whole, we have both said we would return to the hotel but unfortunately we would need to make sure we have dinner reservations elsewhere.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for the sea view.
