“Functional, waterfront hotel.”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

I have stayed at this property twice over the past year and always found it to be very good. Situated on the waterfront the property is modern and clean with very good service from attentive staff. Check in was simple, however check out did take some time due to system issues.

My loyalty with Club Carlson was recognised and I was upgraded to a sea view business class room which was large an airy. A particular benefit of this room is the Nespresso machine and the fluffy bathrobes. The bed was comfortable and I got a good nights sleep.

Breakfast was fantastic each morning and bar service in the evening was also good. One day I used the gym and whilst small it is perfectly functional for a hotel gym, worth using.

Overall the Radisson delivers a typical 4* experience. Would stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room, join club carlson first to help ensure an upgrade!

Just returned from a very relaxing short break at The Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Jersey. Excellent service/v pleasant sea view room (everything you need)/high standards of cleanliness/v quiet and effective air conditioning/'super' breakfast. Ideally located in St Helier-it is within the Marina complex and close to the beach and shops. Easy transfer from the airport on No 15 Bus (£1.80) to the Grand Hotel, St Helier and then a five minute walk on opposite side of the road to Hotel.

Enjoyed a really relaxing family vacation. Hotel was perfectly situated to explore St Helier and the surrounding areas. Facilities were spot on, everything we needed for a family of 4. Even had the fair within walking distance. Food at breakfast was spot on. Plenty of choice, well presented and not over cooked like others. Our 1 bedroom suite was perfect for our needs and had an excellent view as a bonus. The kids loved watching the boats. Only minor gripe was the bar, I felt the staff weren't as polite at times and they had run our strawberries for my wifes favourite cocktail, so she chose another drink only to be told they didn't have it. On the third choice they informed us they didn't have that either. The bar is huge and not to have two main spirits in reserve is a bit of a poor show considering the level of the hotel. But overall it didn't spoil our stay and we would return in a flash. In fact we are considering a new years break there.

We (my wife, my three year old son and I) stayed here for one week. It was excellent. The staff are fantastic. The food is very good and better value than most local competition that we experienced. The location is also great. You will feel well looked after and they are understanding, indeed welcoming, of children. Thank you for making our holiday so good.

Went here for my 50th Birthday weekend and was not disappointed.
Definitely worth paying the extra for the sea view rooms.
Breakfast very comprehensive though a little pricey, evening meal about what you would pay for in town and of equal quality.
Beers a little limited and could do with expanding a little.
Staff courteous and efficient.
Rooms cleaned and furnished to the expected standard.
Décor a little lacking in inspiration but go on to the terrace and look out at the sun going down over the fort and WOW.

Room Tip: If coming via the airport use the very efficient bus service (every 15 mins) and just ask the driver...

This was a special evening with a particularly fabulous meal served in the 1 million pound redecoration project restaurant and bar area. We had a wonderful table joined by the chef who explained the food and wines selected to eat with it.

We started with thai fish cakes and locally caught scallops, followed by finely sliced smoked duck and pomegranite. Delicious! The main course was a perfect little fillet mignon made from best scottish beef and then a perfectly balanced cheeseboard. The finale was a chocolate cheese cake so light and set off with perfect sour cherries.

The waiting team were a joy hitting just the right balance of professionalism and friendliness and the chefs clear commitment to his food gave the whole evening an added dimension...

Super food, great venue and fabulous views over the marina and Elizabeth Castle.

Tremendous!
