“Beautiful spot.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 July 2012

My husband and I spent 10days here from july10 to 20th.We were lucky enough to have just one full day of rain The toilet facilities were spotless, as were the dishwashing and launderette.Free irons and hairdriers. The shop on site was pretty basic but there was fresh bread every morning.T.V. room, lounge for campers and a games room. The swimming pool was huge. The bus stop was practically outside the camp entrance with a regular hourly service. The site owners could'nt have been more helpful.Rozel bay was beautiful, and the Rozel Inn had delicious food reasonably priced, only took us about 15 mins to walk there.

We are seasoned campers and caravanners who decided to take a family holiday to Jersey without the hassle of taking equipment with us and plumped for one of the readily erected tents. It was an excellent decision, particularly arriving from the ferry after 7 pm with a 3 year old, having left home in the UK at 6.30 am!

The tent was in a lovely location on a large pitch in the bottom field (it was the only readily erected one in the field). That's one of the virtues of this site in that they are liberally spread around the three fields so that you don't have the regimated look of most sites with them. All the pitches were large. The tent was equipped with everything one would need and a very nice touch was the tables being set for new arrivals. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. The children's play area is very good and the pool has plenty of sun beds and is in a location where it gets lots of sun - probably leave it till later in the day for the water to warm up for swimming though. The toilet blocks/showers are large, clean and modern and for those who feel so inclined there are two irons and boards.

Although for the first few days the weather was not kind leading to the major problem of walking wet grass into the tent which seemed to stay no matter how many times it was swept away - but campsite cannot be blamed for wind and rain!!

It was a very friendly site, facilities and equipment were clean, would definitely go again if visiting Jersey and would recommend to anyone, however, we were there before the school summer holidays and it was quite quiet not sure if it would be during peak season.

Can also recommend the Rozel pub which is within walking distance (although the hill is quite steep, particularly for the journey back) the food was excellent quality and reasonably priced.

Taking a towing caravan to Jersey is not for the faint-hearted especially the loading part onto Condor Ferries and especially when it is your first trip away in your new van! The Germain family made it special though, from meeting us at the port and escorting us to the site, to ordering fresh bread every day and helping with best routes round the island by car. I was on my own for a few days while husband David was off on a walking holiday round the island and I loved the site and the great laundry room with hairdrying bench. Terrific views to be had on clear days though some spectacular winds showed the down side of being fairly exposed. The shower blocks were well looked after.. Just sorry recycling is not possible other than glass, but that it because of the region's policy not the campsite's. We met some interesting and helpful folks and have nothing but positive memories of this campsite at Jubilee Weekend.

This is a lovely campsite, spread over several fields, with views over to France. The campers were all spread out, so depsite it being the summer half term, we were in a field with only 4 other tents.
There is a lovely playground, a pool and the showers were hot and clean! There were some family shower rooms which was nice.
You could order fresh croissants, pain-au-chocolat and bagettes for breakfast.
The owner was very good about finding the best place for our tent as gale force winds were forecast so we ended up quite sheltered!

I thoughly enjoyed my stay at this lovely campsite and would recomend it to anyone. All the facillities were great and the staff were very helpful. We got loads of space and shelter, even fresh baked bread in the morning. It is only a mile from the Durrell Wildlife Park. It is far better than the time i went to France. DONT GO TO THE HOTEL D'LEUROPE!!! Overall Excellent campsite

We spent the long Jubilee weekend at Rozel Campsite, using one of the campsite's tents. The campsite was clean and pretty. Toilets, showers and wash areas are all very well maintained and kept clean. We did find the family showers weren't as good as the ordinary showers available, but they were still ok. I found the laundry room very good with some great irons and boards. We didn't use the tumble dryers or washers, but they all looking clean and well maintained. The tent we were provided with was large and fully equiped - we just brought our clothes and food! With the added benifit of not having to put the tent up or down too! The swimming pool can be a little difficult to get to because of the steps (one route to the pool has very steep and uneven concrete steps which can be quite dangerous with little ones) There is an alternative, longer route to the pool but this still involves some steps. The pool itself is clean and well maintained and has the sun all day! Overall it is a lovely small campsite with great owners and staff. We had a fab time and would book again =)

This was our first camping trip with our three children - an 8 year old, and 3 year old twins. Our initial worries were soon forgotten as we arrived at the campsite and were promptly and cheerfully greeted by the owners who swiftly settled us in with plenty of reassurances that they were always on hand should the children become unwell or should any other emergency occur, even at 2 in the morning. The tent was absolutely superb - clean, airy and well-appointed, and the camp beds very comfortable. The shower blocks were clean and there was never a hint of the hot-water running out AND they were included in the price, so no need to stock up on tokens / change. The campsite also boasts an great play area for the kids with swings, sandpit and activity area (slides / monkey bars etc) I could go on for much, much longer but suffice to say, we will be back time and time again!
