We have just returned from Chateau la Chaire after a 2 day honeymoon. It was outstanding, the service was impeccable, the food was exquisite. The location was peaceful, understated and beautiful.

A short walk (2 mins) brings you to Rozel Bay with various other restaurants in. There was lovely walks all surrounding the bay and we walked a big loop back round to the hotel over the top.

On checking in we were given a glass of port which having not had before was stunning. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and had a lovely big spa bath in our room. The bed was beyond comfortable. The Manager could not do enough and you feel his attitude throughout the place in every member of the team you encounter. The cream teas were melt in the mouth, and breakfast was substancial and beautifully cooked. The food in the evening I cannot rate highly enough, we had a six course meal each night as part of our package and there is not one thing I didn't eat and go, thats amazing.

I would say if you want pure relaxation a bit of spoiling and fantastic food and wine then this is the place to go, I am hoping we will return every year on our anniversary as it will hold the most precious memories to us. Thank you Mark and your lovely team at Chateau La Chaire.

My husband & I spent a wonderful 2 nights at this beautiful hotel set in a wonderful setting only approx150 yds from the sea. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by the receptionist and offered a drink. Our bedroom which, although was quite small, had a spa bath with shower over and was very clean. The food was superb, the staff were very friendly yet professional and the service impeccable but not obtrusive. Already planning our next visit!

We stayed for two nights, which included half board, car hire and flights.
The fresh fruit, flowers , mineral waters, toiletries, bathrobes and other facilities were all most welcome. The staff were unfailingly polite and friendly and meals absolutely superb.
The bedroom and public areas were attractive and the location beautiful.
We found our way from the airport with a SatNav very easily, although we may have found this more of a problem without.
We will certainly return as soon as possible

We have just returned from our second visit and it was as perfect as ever, loveley room, excellent food , the friendliest staff. We have stayed in many hotels in Jersey, but this is the best. Don't stay too long though, if you worry about your waistline! We have booked for next year.

We had a truly blissful weekend. The staff were attentive and genuinely friendly but not over bearing. The luxurious room upgrade was a bonus, as was the afternoon tea with home made scones, and every mouthful of the varied menu. We were made to feel very welcome and our tums very full!

We found the hotel easily even though it was the other side of the island and only took 30 mins. The staff were very welcoming with a glass of Port or sherry whilst registering.
The room was comfortable and decorated in a Georian style with a Four Poster bed.
The eveningt meal and subsequent food was Excelent with plenty of choice and all localy sourced. The staff were very attentive without being in your face.I would definately recomend this hotel for a long weekend or more if possible
