“Nice meals, really good decor & children's area”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Attended there on a lunchtime two children and four adults, indoor children's play area fantastic and well covered by CCTV (which adults can watch on large screens). Good food, only drawback for us is that we asked for gravy to go with a very dry (on the outside) meat pie which seemed to take forever and a day to arrive. Staff very pleasant and approachable. Hint, if attending without children turn right on entering to avoid the children's play area!

“be ready to climb”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

the devils hole is well worth a look, but be ready for the long walk back! This is some climb, but the pub at the top is a welcome sight..Th pub is similar to an Englisb serving pub food but has a good indoor childrens play area away from the pub section

“Brilliant”
Reviewed 2 May 2014

Excellent grub. We ordered the sea food platter to share -- I didn't know whether to climb it or eat it !! it was enormous.
large pan of mussels in a tomato sauce, a huge prawn and crab cocktail, 2 salmon fish cakes, 4 cod pieces, salad, French bread and a large bowl of chips --- and all that for £14.75

“Consistently good quality”
Reviewed 27 April 2014 via mobile

This wasn't my first visit here, I've been several times before and the quality of the food was excellent as usual.

The menu is varied with some unusual options; the home corned beef is delicious and bears no resemblance to anything that's ever seen the inside of a tin!

Portions are huge and very good value for money. There is very good attention to detail, for example the chips are proper, home made ones, not the insipid tasteless type you often get in even some high end restaurants.

Staff are warm and helpful and the children's play area is a great bonus if you have young children.

Make sure you book though, it does get rather busy!

“Saturday Night Bliss!!”
Reviewed 17 March 2014

Booked for Saturday night used the wonderful Jersey bus service to get to Devils Hole.Lovely table by roaring log fire was very welcoming.Excellent host gave us plenty of time to choose from extensive menu.Drinks were served and a superb bottle of red was only £10.Food was scrummy hot and plentiful.Thoroughly enjoyed our night out if it was a little quiet, probably because everyone was watching Ant n Dec Sat night takeaway!Well my meal out was better than takeaway! Thanks to all @ The Priory.
