“Worth the walk”
Review of Devil's Hole

It takes about 10 mins (with kids) to walk down to the "hole". You go past a rather odd looking devil, that looks more like an evil Mr Tumnus from the "Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe" to be honest. Anyway, ignoring that, the hole, which is a very pretty hole in the cliff where the sea comes through is great. The views down the coast line are really very nice and worth the walk probably just for them.

As people have said, it is a bit of a walk, but I guess that should be expected as it is on the side of a cliff!

If you're already around the St Marys area then its worth the 5 minutes walk to see the costal views and the statue on the way down. Not something to go to specifically but i popped in as part of a hike I was doing that day.

We went to look at the Devil's hole which was interesting but it is a very long way down a very steep path!! We made it down but although there are benches along the path on the way up they are few and far between. Getting back to the top was hard work!! Was it worth the effort? I am not sure!

I visited on a walk across the north coast of Jersey. It was worth popping in to see but I'm not sure I'd bother unless I was passing or visiting a nearby attraction. It's essentially a hole in the shoreline, in the process of being turned into an arch.

Uneven and difficult walk down to the cliffs and little to see when you get there. Suggest you walk a few yards down the hill, take a picture of the Devil statue and retire to the pub whilst the rest of your party brave the steep climb
