Just spent a week here. We booked room only which was under £200 for a couple. This was great value for Jersey.

Our room had been recently re decorated and was large compared to many places.
The hotel is an old building and has over 100 rooms, don't expect a new plush plastic hotel as this is not what you'll get. (Go to the Hilton if you want this).
Our room had no aircon and it was warm at night. It was however a week with full sun and temps up to 26c.

We are not ones to hang around a hotel all day and used it as a base to explore the island. We didn't eat or drink in the hotel so can't comment on what it was like. The weather was great so we ate and drank our way around several great places.

We had a hire car and parked in the hotel overflow car park every night without a problem even though the hotel was full. The hotel allows double parking and you leave the keys at reception in case someone gets blocked in. This didn't happen to us during our stay. St Helier is a hard place to get parked in and it is almost impossible to park for more than 20 minutes near the hotel (in any public places). Therefore the hotel car park is quite a bonus.

The hotel location is good for restaurants, with a good pub across the road and a great Thai shack food outlet on the beach/jetty again across the road. If you can get a seat as its very popular this can rival any Caribbean beach on a sunny summers evening.

We walked into the town centre a few nights and although its a bit of a stroll if your able its a nice walk.

The staff we met were all very pleasant and keen to hear what we had seen and made their own recommendations for pubs and places to eat and visit.

Overall, I'd recommend.

Room Tip: Do a good search for the best price. There are lots of sites listing this hotel.

This hotel is located a bit off from ST Helier downtown, within walkable distance. Location is right next to beach, so you just cross the street and you have arrived on the beach. Bus number 1 runs front of the hotel, if you prefer public transportation to St Hellier or to Gorey Pier.
Rooms are nice, you can spot that beach is close, some sand can be seen here and there. During my stay there was small road construction in the front disturbing morning sleep, but it is gone, when you read this. Room had also kettle for making tea.
Staff was very helpful, they tried to charge additional night at beginning, but corrected their mistake quickly, which is more important than making a mistake.
Some nice restaurants are in the neighbourhood.
If you plan beach vacation on Jersey, this is your hotel.

Room Tip: 85 and 98 are spacious, 85 being best as top floor.

Stayed for a week as my son was getting married on the Island.. We had 3 rooms 1 family 1 double and 1 single, I was looking forward to relaxing as the reviews were fairly good, nice location swimming pool, friendly staff, however we were disappointed, on arrival we were left to struggle with suitcases up a very narrow stair along very narrow hall which seemed to go on for ever, But kept the holiday spirit, unpacked made a wee cupa and noticed a number of ants running around the bathroom and bedroom, the service staff attempted to deal with them with some kind of powder but they fought back, eventually allocated another room at the other end of the very long and narrow hall.. exhausted lay down to find out we were above the pub which was hosting a party with music blaring all night.. so did not sleep..On the plus side Ben the breakfast waiter was helpful and charming. The rest of the staff should emulate his kind and helpful nature as I did not find reception in the least bit helpful..But we made the best of our time and enjoyed our sons wedding.

Just spent a week at this hotel. Bad bit first - first night we had shower and basin that water didn't drain from and some other minor problems. Plumbing sorted that evening and we were offered different room from the next night as hotel full that evening. As new room had no sea view , for which had paid extra, hotel credited difference to our account to use for food in bar. Now onto rest of stay - it was brilliant. All staff are friendly, helpful, polite and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I suffer with bad back and due to back spasm was bed bound one morning and breakfast staff happily made a breakfast for me and allowed my husband to bring it upstairs ( no room service in this hotel in normal circumstances) . bedroom is cleaned as often as you want it. Use their transfer service to airport as was cheaper than taxi which we had used to get to hotel.

Great hotel ,very pleasant staff, Fantastic full English breakfast and good choice of the buffet style breakfast. Room very clean and well equipped. Good parking and handy to walk into the toŵn in St Helier. Will stay there next time we go to Jersey.

Room Tip: The hotel has an indoor swimming pool so take your swim wear.

We had two rooms for 3 nights and were very impressed with this place. The rooms are not huge (1st floor with side sea view) but were clean and comfortable. There had obviously been some renovation work and again, we thought this was pretty good. The pool was excellent, we had it to ourselves in the evenings.
The breakfast was good too, the staff being polite and helpful and interacting with the guests. We didn't eat in in the evenings but would probably do so next time.
Check in was efficient as was the booking procedure.
I would recommend this hotel.
