While on holiday in Jersey we were very lucky to be treated to a three course lunch at this hotel. My husband and I found the food to be of excellent quality and enjoyed the restaurant and outside gardens very much. The waiter looked after us well and arranged for our coffee to be served to us outside as the weather was beautiful.I would strongly recommend this hotel for a special occasion meal if on holiday in Jersey.

Stayed here in July and had a fantastic time. Jersey is a lovely place to explore, and certainly got lucky with the weather which helped! The Longueville is a lovely, family run hotel. Very impressive entrance, although as others state is quite close to a busy main road, so can be tricky getting in and out through the small entrance area. Then you have the car park which is always busy but not too much hassle to park somewhere usually. We had a first floor room at the front of the hotel. Room didn't have air conditioning which meant we had to leave windows open so was a little noisy, but not noticeable after 11pm I would say. Ended up sleeping on top of the sheets as it was far too hot otherwise, not sure if the hotel will ever have air con but it might be worth considering, especially when you consider what you pay to stay there. Breakfasts were amazing, lots of choice of fruit, meats, pastries and lots of cooked options. I managed to get through most of the menu and would definitely recommend the eggs benedict. Food generally is the hotels strong point, with a great lunch and dinner menu, and some of the produce coming from the veg garden which the gardener very politely took us around one day. Pool area is lovely, although the pool itself is quite small. Plus, during lunch you have people eating by it so not ideal if you want to swim during the afternoon. Also played on the tennis court, which is quite a slow all weather surface. Not the best court ever but OK. As a gay couple on holiday I'm never quite sure how a hotel like this would feel but I can assure anyone looking at it that you will feel very welcome and the staff are very pleasant.

I stayed at Longueville Manor for my 50th Birthday Celebrations.
We took three rooms at £750.00 per night and another room at £550.00
per night. So not Cheap! They didn't even give me a bunch of flowers
on my Birthday let alone a complimentary Drink.
Some of the staff were lovely especially Sam the Barman but one member of staff was very rude which left a very bitter taste. I think they need to put there guests first and when it's someone's special Birthday they need to make some kind of effect/gesture. I have stayed at the George V in Paris. Numerous Aman Resorts around the world and many of the Worlds top Hotels. So I do understand the cost of good service. Unfortunately for me Longueville Manor fell well short of this during my stay.

Just returned from a very enjoyable week in Jersey staying at The Longueville manor for a friend's 60th.
The hotel is charming with spacious rooms good food and good service on the whole.
The location is convenient and the grounds stunning with a good outdoor pool.
It is not really a 5 star however because of a number of faults.
There is no air conditioning in the rooms and they can become very warm especially the south facing ones.A fan can be provided but for a hotel of this class this is inadequate.
There is no fridge in the rooms and no tea making facility.Again a fridge can be provided on request and tea can be delivered to the room at I presume extra cost. Not really good enough
The hotel itself in some areas has slightly tired decor and is in need of a little loving care.
Finally and for me the worst fault is that the pool is effectively unusable because the ducks migrate from the duck pond to the pool and defaecate in the pool. They do this because guests feed them.
There is a duck pond next to the pool but there is no physical barrier to discourage the ducks and staff make only occasional desultory efforts to scare them away.
The manager did say they cannot prevent this but I don't agree ,ceasing feeding them and providing a limited physical barrier would be effective.Ducks don't like flying unless they have to.

Room Tip: south side rooms can get hot

Lovely hotel with old fashioned style service in a country setting yet within walking distance to St Heliers. Nothing was too much trouble. Friendly. Professional. Unfortunately the spa was not yet open but would love to return to try it out. We had two large garden rooms with patios and garden furniture overlooking the croquet lawn, swimming pool and Lake. Food was unbelievable ! Breakfast was wonderful. Altogether an experience you should not miss. Thank you Longueville Manor.

Booked the summer break three nights dinner bed and breakfast with an additional night free but we needed to buy our evening meal - included a hire car, welcome drink and "gift". The hire car was not exactly free despite having our own excess insurance - we still has to pay general car insurance for four days at £52. If using a sat nav - post codes do not work in Jersey. When we arrived we struggled to find somewhere to park - there may be an overflow car park but it was not signed. We were welcomed and our luggage taken from us as we checked in. Reception was very good with great explanations and a tour of the facilities. We were upgraded from a superior room to a deluxe room - facing the rear of the hotel thankfully as the front facing rooms must have been quite dark due to the overgrowth of ivy etc. Room was OK - carpet stained but everything else was as we would expect - although this was an expensive break and we would have expected tea and coffee facilities in our room. Food and service were exceptional. The pool area and outside facilities were very good. Airport access is good but we had a hire car I am not sure about other modes of transport - however only about 5 miles to the airport.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back facing the pool area - these seem to avoid the full sun as there is no ai...
