We stayed in "Burhou"; a 2 bedroom apartment. It is beautifully finished and furnished, with 4(!) balconies to let us watch the surfers and the sunsets from the front, or the golf course behind. Storage space is slightly tight, but we were given a beach hut to store beach stuff in. Breakfast is delivered and is perfect. Nothing was too much trouble; they were lovely to the kids, even when one of them damaged a Waves umbrella on a wet evening (and no charge was made).
Not cheap, but we've found nothing else like this in Guernsey - we'll definitely be back if we can get in.

I have just come back from Guernsey having celebrated my hen do with all my friends and family. The apartments were fantastic, they were ideal for any group, wanting a good time. The breakfast was a fab cure to a hangover. We couldnt have asked for better, location, music system, or friendly staff. Thanks for helping us have a very memorable time.

We stayed at this gloriously different hotel for 8 nights in one of the studio appartments, We were in need of plenty of rest and relaxation, and this is exactly what we got.
The room was very clean and serviced every day, the huge bed was comfortable with good quality linen. The towels in the shower room were thick and fluffy and it had a fantastic power shower. The kitchen although small managed to incorporate a fridge, dish washer and washing machine and was well equipped. The fridge was stocked with local honey, home made marmalade, milk, orange juice and a well chilled bottle of Oyster Bay white wine and a delicious breakfast was delivered every morning to you door. Hadian and Jo ( the owners) were more than helpful and obviously work very hard to ensure that their guests have a good time. We also took along our old and hairy Lab, who shed hairs continually which Hadrian and Jo were very gracious about. All in all a lovely holiday in a spectacular setting right on the beach.

We found Waves on the internet and after liaising with Hadrian we were booked into the Jethou Suite at short notice.

We had high expectations after what we had heard and read, and we were not disappointed. Our teenage daughter and her friend were in awe of the layout, decor and facilities, as were we. We had a large four bedroomed, four bathroomed apartment, which was extremely tastefully decorated and equipped with everything one would need. We also had 2 terraces, one at the front and one at the rear.

To welcome us there was fruit in the bowl, milk, juice, jam, butter, etc in the fridge and a bottle of wine chilling. There was even normal sized toiletries in the bathroom cabinets.

Waves is owned and run by a young couple, Hadrian and Jo, who are extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. They have done an amazing job renovating an old hotel into what is now extremely clever, contemporary accommodation. The location is also a bonus, with the beach just across the road, and if you're lucky beautiful sunsets.

A very relaxing time was had by all, although trying to get 2 teenage girls out of the large comfy beds and away from the TV's (which were in every room) was a struggle!

A big fan of self catering, I booked Waves for my first ever trip to Guernsey having come across it on the internet. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The service was fantastic, especially the warm croissants delivered to our door every morning! The 2 bed apartment was very well designed, with a boutique hotel feel and fantastic views across to the beach. The huge beds were really comfortable & a real luxury & the showers were great (nice & powerful). I also particularly liked the fact that there were balconies (albeit small) off nearly every room. My only slight disappointment was having a road between us and the beach but it wasn't exactly an inconvenience to walk the 2 mins required to reach the sea front. I would definitely stay here again - clean, stylish, friendly and great location.

Just has a fabulous 3 weeks in a luxury Apartment/Hotel which is a style unique to Guernsey as it is the only one which holds such a licence.
It is situated in a stunning location on the West Coast just across the road from a beach and views that would be difficult to better anywhere in the world. The apartments are luxuriously furnished, each with private decking area, some with balconies and exquiIte sea-views . A luxury breakfast basket is delivered every morning, which includes warm bread, croissants etc.
The Hotel is owned by a very warm and friendly family, totally committed to ensuring your stay is memorabl

My wife and I stayed at Waves in July. We both normally live in Guernsey but due to an extended stay in Canada had rented our home out there so decided to look for a holiday apartment for our two week trip home. I found Waves on the internet and having the benefit of local knowledge decided that this would be a great location for out stay.
The property has recently been totally renovated from the shell of an ageing hotel and presents itself as a chic, modern group of apartments of varying size. We stayed in Brequou on the second floor.
Good points: Great location, wonderful views from our 4 (yes 4) albeit small balconies. Beach views from one side and country views from the other. All had french windows so the apartment was very light and airy. Very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine dryer and full cooker plus micro and fridge freezer. Satellite TV and flat screen TV. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Free Wifi.
Not so good: Our apartment was billed as sleeping 6. The format has 2 double beds in the very large bedroom and 2 sofa beds in the small living dining room. Only one small shower room. Luckily there were only the two of us, had there been any more it would have been very cramped and using the shower room/loo which was in the main bedroom would have been embarrassing to say the least ! The 2 black sofas in the living room were uncomfortable and made the room seem very cramped. Only one small wardrobe in the bedroom. With a little less furniture this would have been a wonderful 2 plus kids sleeper.
We were however shown a 3 bedroom apartment on the first floor which had 3 ensuite bedrooms, a large open plan living/kitchen/diner and a huge terrace facing the beach. Much better but more expensive.
Overall the concept is great and Hardrian and Jo are gracious and friendly hosts but my suggestion would be dont cram too many people in !!
