Arrived late due to cancelled flight in the morning,We were worried about the car hire but the desk was still open and with no fuss we collected our car.On arrival at the hotel we were met by a smiling receptionist and as the restaurant was closed, she organised some sandwiches in the bar.
After a very peaceful nights sleep we arrived for breakfast to a very polite waitress who served us with an excellent freshly cooked breakfast and a good array of cereals, juices, fruit and pastries.
Ate in the hotel restaurant twice and found the food to be of a very good standard my dover sole was perfect!
To sum up Le Friquet is a comfortable welcoming hotel with staff who are happy to serve you ,nothing seemed to be any bother and i would certainly recommend this hotel for a relaxing laid back holiday on a beautiful island with fantastic beaches and coastal scenery.

We have stayed here before and yet again came home feeling like we had just had a fantastic break. We went on a short "Seafood break" and it really is superb value. The Hotel has a very friendly feel about it. It's well run but relaxed with staff who do genuinely seem pleased to be there.

We took a special offer 4 night break at Le Friquet, one dinner included in the price. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly reception staff who gave us lots of information on the area. Our room was not over large, but big enough for us, and immaculately clean, as it was after being serviced each day. We opted for the inclusive donner on the first night, adn asked for the "Famous Seafood Platter". Welll;. this was an experience! The amount of seafood produced would easily have fed 4 people, and had every dind of sheel fish, together with smoked salmon, salad and new potatoes. After that, we took dinner each evening in the hoptedl, and the food was excellent. there is a first class carvery at a v ery reasonable price and a good a la carte menu, together with a table d'hote. The staff were always polite, frindly, and nothing was too much trouble. the hoptel is set in immaculate grounds. there is a bus stop nearby with grequent buses to St. Peter Port, and a park and ride nearby. the hoptel arranged our travel and a hire ccar at a cost that we couldn't beat independently. We will be back!

first stay at the hotel. usually stay at the Moores but was far too expensive so chose here .

Great value £76 half board. Single room but big enough with great shower and bath. Trouser press, tea coffee making goods all in all very comfortable.

The food was fantastic 5 courses included in the half board with plenty of choice.

For those without a car the hotel is close to bus stops, which I used to get into St Peters port in the evening, 60p one way ? bargain !! £10 taxi back.

Stay enjoy whether single and on business or couples/families on hols

From the moment of arrival to be greeted by happy smiling friendly front of house staff, our luggage was taken to an immaculate room by another member of staff.
Nothing seemed too much trouble as all staff made us feel as we could ask for anything and it would not be a problem.
The food and it's presentation was of a very high standard but not over pretentious which suited the family requirements needed.
Any questions asked of the staff were always greeted with a smile and answered suitably.
Altogether a very enjoyable holiday which we will certainly repeat so that we can enjoy the warm atmosphere that greated us again.
