What a revelation! Super weekend here in a hire tent ( has a light so one can read! ) and really enjoyed the animals, country walks and croissants in the morning . The children loved it and wandered around in the dark with new friends. We will go again next year although I must be honest and say it was good to be able to drive home ( for the pets ) in 10 minutes. I am still not really a camper but this is as close as I've got! Thank you lovely Roland and Teresa who are so committed to giving their guests a good holiday .

Most of the good things about this campsite has already been said by other reviewers - I will mention one thing that can be improved: All internal roads / lanes are in need of asfalt or other hard surfaces. As it is, the dirt roads create a lot of dust when the weather is fine and dry, like it was this summer. Yes, I know that it will be quite an investment for the owners to have this done, but I am sure it will pay in the long run, with even more satisfied guests. The resident pigs and other animals are indeed an attraction for city kids, but they also attract flies and other insects (also rats), which campers should be aware of. Other than that: Very friendly owners and shop staff, nice heated swimmingpool, camping areas of different sizes and standards (including the no-cars Terrace for tent backpackers like me). Some discrete night lighting of the area between the Terrace and the toilets would be nice though.

Me and my boyfriend spent a week at this campsite, and were amazed at the fantastic facilities and services that were available! Fresh baguettes, croissants and pain au chocolates baked for you in the morning, coffees and hot chocolates made by hand in the family run shop, a pizza van and a bbq on selected week nights! Amazingly clean and very hot showers, a laundry room, ironing boards!! Swimming pool, tv room, games room, kids playground, farn animals! An excellent place which caters for all - families young or old, couples, whoever!
We have been to a lot of campsites together and this place has definitely raised the bar for us! The family who run this place have thought everything out perfectly, even down to the layout of the tents.. and the fact you get to choose your own pitch is a perk!

We approached bringing our motorhome to Guernsey with some trepidation (as it is 6.9m long) but were swiftly put at ease and assisted by the team at Fauxquet – who advised us of the maximum dimensions allowed for vehicles on the island and furnished us with the required vehicle permit. The drive from St Peter Port is fairly simple but there are some entertaining turns in a vehicle this big!
The campsite itself is quite large with electric hook ups for a lot of the pitches and numerous drinking water points supplied. There are excellent, clean fresh facilities for ablutions, as well as a laundry room and a large games-room. There is a swimming pool which is the focus for a lot of the child activity during the day, but it is closed from 1800 to allow the noise levels to dissipate.
The reception area has freely accessible wi-fi and also a shop able to supply essentials (bread, sausages, beer etc!) and hot drinks.
If you get the opportunity to attend one of the cider farm tours (which involve walking to the next farm along) then I would strongly recommend it. James is a very forthcoming approachable young man who has been ploughing his resources into building up his business, despite admitting he knew nothing about cider-making when he set out. His produce is sold across the island and also in the campsite shop.

This site is really set up for families. Great size pitches with loads of space. Lots of families from Guernsey stay here.

The fresh bread, croissants etc could all be ordered each morning, the pizza can was great and the shop stocked a great selection of their own produce and essentials.

Kids had a great time with the animals and the swimming pool which was lovely and warm. Shower block really clean and laundry area great. They even had loads of outside clothes lines where you could hang your clothes.

This is a perfect place for families and if we go back to Guernsey will definitely stay here.

I stayed here between 11th-16th Aug. With 4 children aged 5 -9 in tow I wasn't expecting much of a rest on my holiday! How wrong could I be? This site is heaven for young children, with pool, playground & farm animals to entertain. A really safe environment to allow them to wander freely around and test out their independence - especially in PJs and headtorches! We stayed in a ready erected tent which was spacious, immaculate, comfy and had all equip we needed. Pitches are well spaced and maintained, toilets super clean, hot water for showers/washing up at all times and the shop sells all basics and makes a great latte. I'll be booking again for a longer visit next summer, Guernsey is beautiful and we have all enjoyed a memorable old fashioned beach holiday like I used to experience when I was a child. Thank you Les Fauxquets for an "epic" (as my daughter would say) first trip to Guernsey.

Just returned from 5 nights at this site with my husband and 2 kids; was lovely atmosphere, safe enough to let the kids wander. The facilities were excellent, lots of showers so no waiting, plenty of hot water, ironing room with hair dryers, w/machines, great pool with sun loungers, fab shop selling all sorts inc fresh croissants & baguettes to order and meat from farm, free wifi. The owners were lovely and so helpful, was the icing on the cake. Only slight criticism was being on the left side of outback field meant we were other side of fence from resident animals inc rooster who liked to wake us up at 5am! Next time ear plugs!
