A really enjoyable stay at the Bella Luce on our first visit to Guernsey. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and our room was first class. The hotel is in a very good location with a beautiful bay no more than a 10 minute walk away. The hotel team seem to have found the right balance providing an excellent service whilst avoiding being too formal. We intend to come back to the hotel but at a more sunny time of year.

We stayed here recently on a special offer for one night. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant and our room was lovely! We had fresh fruit in our room. Absolutely beautiful. We have been going to a few hotels in Guernsey for one night treats and the Bella Luce did not disappoint. We also used the Bella Spa next door and this was lovely also. Perfect weekend. Many thanks

Our first trip to Guernsey, it was a very relaxing time, the hotel was excellent, we stayed in what they called their wedding suite, it was so comfortable, everything we wanted was there.

Staff - Every single members off staff worked hard from those who cleaned our rooms to the front of house to the chefs, they were fantastic! 5 star staff. We could not have asked to be looked after better!

Hotel- It is a fantastic very clean very very comfortable hotel and well situated, I would say if there is anything the hotel could have an indoor pool, spar/sauna as with other 5 star hotels we stayed it but I would imagine getting permission to extend such an old building is a nightmare.

Food- my lord your in for a treat, excellent food, excellently cooked, excellently presented, it was so good. ( just very it in the week slightly)

Overall I would say a very enjoyable, stay with excellent service and food, wonderful staff who are a credit to the hotel.

This is my second time here. it's a beautiful, and well priced 'luxury' hotel in my opinion. Rooms are very nice, spacious. the little extras you get always a plus.

Breakfast is amazing both continental and English (i had both). Sunday roast lunches to die for, if you can finish eating the amount you get (don't get a starter!). With an extensive wine list you can't go wrong either.

They have a very cozy lounge area which does feel very homey.

Could do with small gym perhaps. Or something to help pass time during the weekend retreat. the island gets quiet after summer.

The staff made our holiday a very special one. Nothing was too much trouble, they remembered what you liked to eat and drink and they made our stay very special. Our first time in the Bella Luce - four adults, two elderly, booked online and it didn't disappoint - except for the outdoor pool being closed as it was the wrong time of year - Oct!. Arrived early at 8.45am and were warmly greeted. We were offered a complimentary breakfast as we had arrived so early and had a chance to change our rooms with no quibble and was very pleased with room (up the stairs, turn right and straight ahead) - I think 101. Beautiful large walk in shower and superb quality toiletries and the obligatory fluffy white towels and gowns. Our companions (elderly ones) had a very accomodating twin room which had the additional space that 2 elderly friends needed - room 108 further down the corridor.

We only had one evening meal and it was lovely, nice to have properly laid tables, and waiter service - they all worked as a team and the food was hot. The breakfasts were excellent - unlimited food and a great choice.

We were so impressed that we advised the General Manager who was very helpful and grateful for our positive comments. A few things prevent us from giving this a 5 rating - but we are aware these are being addressed - they are undergoing a refurbishment (as there is new managment) and whilst we had a lovely room - it was dated and tired and needed a new bed. The stairs were beautiful solid wood - but incredibly creeky. This does need addresssing. Our room maid was an excellent ambassador for the hotel (her husband worked at the hotel as well) and all the reception staff. Waiter service was excellent at breakfast (except for one day when the normal staff had the day off).

Not an ideal hotel for the walking disabled as there are plenty of stairs and gradients. We are looking forward to returning on our own so we can explore from the hotel - which is ideally situated for this purpose.

Would highly recommend. Thank you all

Each year I stay here on business. Colleen is a very welcoming host; showing us our rooms and then coming back to help me start the TV! Room was cold becauase I couldnt work the radiator; portable heater appeared promptly and the room was very warm. Quality throughout. A pleasure to be here.

This is the second time I have been to the Bella Luce on a quids in or Guernsey Treats special deal and I must say it just gets better and better each time we go . We booked to go with good friends but unfortunately it was a Friday this time so we didn't get to make full use of the facilities as the deal we had for £135 per couple was a prosseco afternoon tea , three course meal and overnight stay with breakfast an absolute bargain.

We all checked in just after six o'clock and we were met by Colline who had agreed that because we could not have our afternoon tea that we could take some freshly baked scones, Jam and Cream home with us the following day , we were shown to room 201 which was up two flights of stairs and it was absolutely lovely , it was very spacious with a seating area , a lovely big comfortable bed and lovely walk in shower with all the toiletries you would expect from a Hotel of this standard.

We went down to the bar and ordered a drink and then our friends joined us and the bar staff bought over our glass of prosseco each which was lovely because we did not have to ask them they already knew , we ordered our food and we were shown to our table , the food was amazing , we took our coffee back in the bar which is where they had a lovely coal fire lit

Again the breakfast was beautiful and as we checked out Colline bought us over our scones and jam and cream and advised us that there would be another offer on again in a couple of weeks which we will definitely do it again , it was like going on holiday without all the stress of flights etc

Thank you Bella Luce and all the staff for yet another fantastic stay , your consistency is second to none

Room Tip: We had room 201 which was very spacious
