Terrible, terrible, terrible !. We arrived at what looked like a lovely hotel, we parked in the spacious car park and walked past the Italian restaurant and the sun terrace on our way into reception, things we're looking good !! Then it all started to go wrong, the reception area was dark (as was most of the hotel due to the lights being off) and completely un manned, there was a small sign telling us to go to the bar and check in, we went to the bar which would appear is also the reception now, and checked in, we were charged in advance for our rooms and taken up to them, on the way to our rooms we enquired about the Italian and Spanish restaurants in the hotel to be told that they had both closed down "months ago". Upon arrival at our rooms we found them to be very basic and desperately needing a refurb, there were home made glass shelves in the bathroom with sharp edges. None of the towels we were given matched, and the toiletries consisted of 2 small sachets of shower gel and a barbie sized bar of soap. The mattress must have been about 10 years old and the tv could only receive 2 out of the 40 channels that were programmed in. I decided to take a shower but the water pressure was so low that the water only dribbled out, and when you put the shower head up into the holder the water flow stopped completely. We enquired about breakfast for the following morning to be told that it wasn't worth the hotels inconvenience bringing the chef in just for 2 people's breakfasts !. After leaving the hotel the following morning we returned later that day to find that the rooms hadn't been touched, beds not made, bins not emptied and no new toiletries. Upon checking out the next morning there was nobody in the hotel at all so we just left our keys at the reception desk and left !. A thoroughly terrible hotel, however the food in the bar was good, and the bar staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough to help.
