Description: We are a family friendly pub that has a seperate area for family to the dining area. We are growing more and more popular with the locals and tourists with our extensive menu, comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. While the chef's are busy preparing your food from the grill and oven's it's time for you to sit back with family and friends and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere. At The Wicked Wolf, we're especially proud of our great value menus, which are packed with everything from tasty grills to crunchy salads, including plenty of choices on our children's menu. The Wicked Wolf restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy home made pub food with family and friends at great value prices.

After having been turned away by four other establishments, we thought we had stumbled on the answer to our lunchtime dilemma when we saw the 'Food served all day' sign outside the Wicked Wolf. Alas, it wasn't to be! Once again, we were told that the kitchen had closed at 2pm. Since when does closing at 2pm constitute 'all day?' In the end, we gave up trying to get any food near to the airport and decided to have a meal at the airport itself, which turned out to be be not too bad. I'd do that if I were you, rather than waste an hour of your life driving around near the airport looking for a decent meal after 2pm.

A very poor experience. When we arrived to eat on a Friday night the place was best part empty and we had a choice of where to sit. That should have been the first indication to leave. I ordered rack of ribs which when they came were very difficult to get into and when you did there was hardly any meat on them. My wife had Chicken melt which was dry and overcooked. Both of our chips were only lukewarm. We told both the waitress and the person at the till but both did not seem to care much. Perhaps they have heard it all before. We filled out a comment card expressing our displeasure but the downside of this is that it will be entered in a draw to win a £25 voucher. This is one competition I hope I don't win. I will not go back and would urge other people to think very carefully before wasting their time and money here.

My better half and I have been at the Wicked Wolf for dinner three times during the last week (our first trip to Guernsey but not to British food).
Thrice out of three the - traditional - food was of excellent taste and quality, the staff very helpful, friendly and forthcoming and the premises in general made us feel like sitting in an extension of our living room: precisely the feeling a pub ought to convey.
The helpings are good-sized - and we cannot imagine anyone leaving hungry - but not too big so one does not have to roll out of the door (despite the chef trying his wickedest with the sticky toffee dessert!).
On top of all, the pricing is very sensible and a little culinaric luxury here does not mean a strict diet for the wallet.

We very much look forward to our next visit - there's still so much on the menu we couldn't sample yet.

Lovely atmosphere with good beer, wine and food. Not expensive for what you get. Well worth a visit whilst in Guernsey.
