This was opposite the Moores hotel we stayed in, so was convenient for Sunday lunch. We were shown a table for two, by the wall, near the front. We were not area of the area overlooking the harbour, or we would have chosen to sit there. We ordered chicken and cottage pie. Portions were on the small side, but were good quality. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive. Afterwards, we ordered dessert and had tarte citrone and apple pie. Not a good idea to serve apple pie on an almost flat plate with a jug of custard, though! Both desserts were good and the apple pie did not seem to be microwaved. The pastry was crisp on the outside. Overall service was a little slow, although the staff were very pleasant. There was a small adjustment to the bill to compensate for the service, but even then it was a little overpriced for what it was. I would not return here again, or to Guernsey, but would not discourage anyone from trying Christies.
