“The most upmarket beach café I've been to”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2014

On our 3 day break in Guernsey this March we walked to the beach and found this lovely café for coffee. Rugs provided on the benches outside - nice touch! After looking at the menu we went back next day for lunch. Probably the most upmarket beach café I've ever been to. We had a beautiful seafood risotto. Excellent friendly service and even in March it was packed. Great find - highly recommended - shall certainly return

“SUPER FOOD GREAT LOCATION”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014

. This was April yet people were still visiting to eat lunch - this café has gained quite a reputation for good food and deservedly so. On a fine day sit outside and enjoy the view of the little bay - there is some seating inside. Try a fresh crab sandwich or a delicious ice cream We ate so much we struggled to eat dinner later. But beware it is quite a stiff climb back up the hill - you can get here by following the coast path from St Peter Port - delightfully uncrowded!

“The perfect beach cafe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 April 2014

The long steep walk down to Fermain beach (car free) is well worth it. Lunch is always very popular so be prepared to wait for delicous freshly made sandwiches

“Sunday Lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 April 2014

Staying for the weekend in Guernsey, we just wanted a light lunch before flying home. As it was warm and sunny and also Mothers Day it was very busy. However we found a table outside in the sunshine and although had to queue to order, we didn't have to wait too long for the food to arrive. We ordered sandwiches which were very filling but you could have had a more substantial meal and from what I could see being brought out, were quite large portions and looked delicious. The steep walk up the hill back to our hotel certainly helped work off the calories!
