Having tried another restaurant on Saturday night, as this one was fully booked, we experienced a very poor meal and decided that Guernsey must have better to offer and here it is!
From the very start, my mind was put at rest because the ladies were served first - which is how it should be!
We selected our food from a very varied menu and were not disappointed when our starters appeared a few minutes after placing our orders. My personal choice was the king prawns and calamari which was cooked to perfection.
Mains arrived in timely fashion and they too were cooked to perfection.
On a scale of 1-10 this was definitely a 10! I would go so far to say that it was on a par with some of the best places we have ever been to including the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
We will very definitely be booking again before we arrive from the UK to ensure we can get a table.

Well done to the staff for a memorable evening.

We had lunch which was excellent. The setting is lovely as it overlooks the harbour and the service was perfect. We couldn't fault it and would recommend it without any hesitation.

A fantastic location at the end of Albert Pier overlooking the Harbour; ideal for sea watching. Service with a smile, fabulous fish (and Menu has meat and vege dishes as well), wine mist was a good read with excellent house wines and I enjoyed a Sancerre ROSE. The Manageress was so helpful and I was made to feel welcome as I waited for my host to arrive. White table cloth and linen, discrete table settings for private business meal, ample room to spread. We visited the Pier 17 restaurant for dinner on a Monday night and we had a very good meal and enjoyed the experience. It was surprisingly busy but we were accommodated without a booking and had a table with a view over the harbour across to Castle Cornet.

The food was good and we both had fish for main course (bream & sea bass). Good choice of wine and reasonable prices for somewhere a little more upmarket than a few of the other options in down-town St Peter Port.

From talking with the waitress, it gets very busy later in the week so bookings are advisable especially for weekends when the ambience can get a little more lively, so she said!

Ask for a table near the window as this gives better views of the harbour which surrounds the restaurant.

The menu is good, food and service excellent and we enjoyed a very good evening.

We understood that there were also views of the castle, but these were rather obscured by what appeared to be a newish warehouse built directly in between.
