“What a superb meal.”
Reviewed 31 March 2014

This was one of the first restaurants we ate at, based on the recommendations of a local couple.
It was by far the best meal we had on the holiday. We ate at De Nellos, Le petit bistro. By way of atmosphere, relaxed dining and quality of food, nothing surpassed this meal. Highly recommended.

“Italian Feast”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

My wife, whose mother was Italian, spoke with the head waiter when we visited the restaurant one evening suggesting that we should form a party of 16 people and book a true Italian meal. Over the next two weeks menues were discussed and agreed upon.

The meal we ate was truly superb culminating in the best zabglione that we have ever had - and we have, in the past, suffered several disastrous versions of this classic italian dessert!

The experience was so good in fact that we are in the process of assembling another group of friends to join us there.

“An fab”
Reviewed 22 February 2014 via mobile

Great service. Good selection on the menu with a number of daily specials on of our part asked for something off menu for a starter and it was no bother at all. I had the crab cake which were tasty and hit. Nice chilli sauce. Fresh bread was served and we asked for more as the whole meal bread was so tasty. I had the bass, one of he group had chicken and the other steak. All good nude portions. We had six different sides. All hit was lovely and hot , good size portions. The desserts finished off the meal. I had a light dessert as I was full but I am a dessert person. I ad the sorbet and it finished off of the meal nicely. Would go back , it was well recommended.

“Will not be back!”
Reviewed 27 January 2014 via mobile

We went here from a family meal, 8 adults 2 children. We had booked for 7pm and were served drinks and given menus straight away. After being told there was no chicken available we placed our order. At 7.35pm the starters came out - which were fine. At 8.35pm we had our mains. The children's cod bites were burnt, my sister in laws risotto wasnt cooked properly, therefore in edible. The moules were stone cold, my husbands steak (which was ordered medium rare) could have been used as a lethal weapon during a riot. We also ordered a few side dishes which were brought out on silver trays and served around the table then taken back to the kitchen instead of being left for us to help ourselves if we wanted any more! Total shambles and waste of money. Will definitely not be returning.

“fabulous service and fantastic food”
Reviewed 26 January 2014

My wife and I visited the restaurant 24th January as part of the local quids in iniative therefore subject to the special menu which whilst limited in choice (as you would expect for a 'cheap deal) was very well put together. The service was excellent and extremely attentive although not intrusive. We did of course have to pay for drinks and coffee on top of the set menu but even these were reasonably priced.

The staff have to be congratulated, including the chef(s) as the experience we had that night was such that we will be visiting again soon and not just for the quids in deal - a customer gained through the efforts of all of the staff on what was quite a busy night - well done all.

P.S do try the carpaccio, it is fantastic (as is the tiramasu).
