Yes, like many others we tried this Italian restaurant for the 3 courses for £10 deal. Because we had read the reviews, we asked for a window table, and duly got one. This was essential for us at the height of summer.

We were told of a slight delay in a friendly and professional manner so were seated downstairs and given a drink. House wines about £14 per bottle and were very good.

We were shown to our window table and ordered food. Great portions and superb quality. Whitebait and spaghetti bolognese for 2 of us, prawn cocktail and lasagne for the others. Brilliant. No long wait, staff great, portions a plenty and also get new potatoes, chips and vegetables separate to every main course. We had to leave ours, there was just too much. Really good though. We then had sticky toffee pudding, tiramisu, chocolate pancake and profiteroles for our desserts. All brilliant. Coffees to finish and a total bill for 4 people.....£75! What value. So much so we went back the next night and did it again, also brilliant.

My only advice is that on the first floor (main eating area) it does get very hot in summer, so get as near to the windows as you can.

This is a must do restaurant if staying in Guernsey. Brilliant.

Eat here twice in the last week. First time from the £10 menu. Yes, £10 for three excellent courses. No scrimping on portions, the crab salad was fresh, huge & magnificent. House wine £13.95 and drinkable. Great atmosphere, friendly staff a place with real buzz. Went back & really splashed out on the a la carte. £16.95 for fantastic, enormous lobster Thermidor. Can't understand how they make money. Eaten at other poncy, pretentious fish restaurants run by d list, wannabe celebrities where the bill has been ten times the price. They could learn much from here! Make sure you book, you may have to wait a bit but it's well with the wait!

Have been here before and the food was just edible for the price which is cheap by guernsey standards however has gone down hill now in my opinion I ordered cod on mash and it came looking like someone had been sick on the plate smelled really fishy and for my own safety I did not eat it , the mash looked grey and like it came out of a packet also. Restaurant was jam packed noisy really hot and the service was poor - two hours of discomfort at a cramped table where you were most touching elbows with the next table. Ok if there is a crowd of you wishing to get drunk and consequently then have no idea what you are eating otherwise if you like nice quality food and good conversation - avoid like the plague.

Having wandered past many other restaurants in the area, this one caught my eye with the food it was serving on its fixed price menus - 3 courses for a tenner, or for nineteen quid, depending on what you fancied.. Usually I would not expect much choice on these menus so was very impressed to see a large array of dishes on both menus. The smoked duck as a starter was really tasty, and the steak was very good. My partner had some deep fried brie and a spinach and ricotta dish from the tenner menu and she could not believe that we were being charged so little. Service was decent. My only gripe was sitting on a slightly wonky table but that added something to the charm of the place. Will definitely come again.

Great service, excellent lunch prices (in fact all good prices!) and the food was pleasant and plentiful!

Highly recommend!
