Description: A warm Guernsey welcome awaits you at the Old Quarter Restaurant from Paddy, Dana and the staff. This is honest, no nonsense food with a slight Irish slant as you would only expect from Paddy's home roots. The Restaurant prides itself on using as much locally sourced ingredients as possible; fresh from the land and the sea the taste of Guernsey comes out in every dish. Paddy and the team are keen to show off the best of what Guernsey has on offer each season and the menu changes to reflect this. Our cosy restaurant caters for parties up to fifty people, so whether its a business meeting over lunch or an intimate dinner for two we will always do everything to meet your expectations. We are also very flexible with our menus and happy to adapt to your needs where possible. You will find us at the centre of the Old Quarter among a mixture of antique dealers, art gallery's, craft shops, fashion boutiques and unique privately run shops of all types and descriptions. With its narrow cobbled streets it really is like going back in time to what most of the town of St Peter Port once looked like, but with a modern twist of quaint little shops. Any stroll around town is not complete without a trip up Mill and Mansell Street, why not cap it off with a light lunch or and early evening meal.

We followed the plethora of excellent reviews on TA and we certainly weren't disappointed . The menu contains and excellent selection of dishes which are beautifully prepared .An abundance of locally sourced produce dominate the menu . A friendly atmosphere and efficient service makes this restaurant a must when visiting Guernsey . Bravo Paddy & team !

We visited the Old Quarter restaurant for dinner on a Saturday night and we had a good meal and enjoyed the experience. Everything was well cooked and presented, just needed to be washed down with a local beer but sadly there was only lager in bottles. Nice people and they deserve continuing success in the future.

This restaurant is slightly off beaten track up a side street with lots of empty shops but well worth finding. We hadn't booked and luckily they squeezed us in a small table in the window. Very good service and delicious food at reasonable cost. We had the sizzling fillet steak for two which was superb. A nice atmosphere in a small buzzy restaurant. Highly recommended but probably best to book!

We picked out this restaurant because of its rating on here. I doubt that we would have strayed so far from the down Centre without the listing. What a hidden treasure we would have missed !! Starters of Leek and potato soup and seafood broth were a very promising start and we're not let down by the beef medallions and bad and chorizo mains. All this was surpassed by the magnificence that was the orange creme brulee. I don't usually like my creme brulee to be anything other than the plain unadulterated variety but this is my new benchmark. Thanks for a great evening. I hope we will come back sometime.

After an unpromising start, this turned out to be a good evening. Paddy's Irish influenced menu was was wholesome and tasty, and was supported by a decent wine list. The service was cheerful and friendly, enhanced by Paddy himself who had clearly kissed the Blarney Stone on more than one occasion.
