I cannot in all honesty put into words how good it is. It's more than the food, although that is extremely good, it's the attentiveness of the staff and their relaxed, nothing too much trouble attitude. Always greeted with a smile and a perfect start and finish to the day. Thank you once again and hopefully be back soon.!!

We had a glass of wine here plus sandwiches for a quick lunch with a family friend. Delicious crab and smoked salmon sandwiches. Could not wish for better. The glasses of wine were served quickly, the service was slick, and we loved examining, being local, the new mural on the wall. It is great Annie! We love it. Well done. The terrace was full, an indication that locals or people in the know, come here. Tourists find this venue on their 2nd or 3rd visit as it is tucked away.

We had a table on the patio at lunchtime, with a nice view on a sunny day. Some of the tables had shades for those who found the sun too much.
The menu offered something different from the other restaurants in the town centre, for example spaetzle (a simple but tasty German pasta dish), potato pancakes, and pear, blue cheese and walnut salad, all a reasonable price, as well as some more expensive meat and seafood dishes. Food tasted good and service was pleasant and reasonably quick. Quite a busy place with plenty of atmosphere and chance to people watch.

Ate here as staying at hotel and dining options on a Sunday limited! So glad we did though! The staff were great and the food was wonderful, lovely evening which they rounded off by serving us our coffee in the lounge (though suspect this was because we were almost the last in the restaurant! )

Went here as a group of 60 for staff Christmas meal. Excellent choice of dishes on menu and good price. Starter of goats cheese gratin could have been double in size as was so yummy but was too meager. sorbet with strawberry nice, steak with pepper sauce excellent and cheeseboard was nice selection, with crackers and walnut bread. Coffee and mints. £26 approx. Food delivered hot to table and vegetables served quickly. Staff polite and a manger seemed to be around but not in your face, checking everything was running smoothly. Friendly bar downstairs for pre and after drinks. To say the conservatory was full and another function was on it the next room, everything ran to clockwork. Could drop 1/2 point for the small starter but on the whole it was excellent to wouldn't.
