Stayed in a twin room. It was well decorated, with comfortable beds , a nice bathroom and most importantly clean. Breakfast was included in the price and had a good selection of hot and cold options. Hotel was well maintained and within 2 minutes of the High Street. Staff were polite and helpful.

My first trip to Guernsey, been to a few of the other Channel Islands, so wanted a fairly central hotel and this one was certaily well located for the harbour, boat trips, shops etc

Staff were very polite and helpful. Comfortable, large room with Freeview TV, DVD player and an Ipod dock too! Didn't use the mini bar but it was reasonably well stocked. As to breakfast, there was a selection of cereals, cold continental style meats and cheeses or a fairly wide range of cooked breafast.

Didn't try the on site restaurant / bistro for evening meals but tried the bar food which, probably because it was late wasn't brilliant but it filled a gap

Overall, a good hotel but I think the food let it down a bit

Recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for a leisure break. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful, hotel was very clean.

Stayed in Twin Executive room, which was very nice. Bathroom was a good size, shower good once you have the temperature right. Mini-bar was a bit expensive, but that is a common theme among most hotels. Beds were okay, however I found it more comfortable to doze off during the day than to actually fall asleep at night.

Only slight disappointment was the food. Breakfast unless you get there very early appeared to have been cooked for a while and was quite greasy. Eggs were overcooked too. However there was also the option of a buffet "continental" breakfast.

Location-wise very good, 2 minute walk from the high street, and only an extra minute or 2 to the port itself. If you don't drive, the hotel is only 15 minutes maximum in a taxi from the airport - best to try and book one in advance as did have about a 30 minute wait after all the taxis had been used - there appears to be a taxi shortage on the island! Should only cost approx. £10.

Overall, enjoyed my time at the hotel,

Room Tip: Executive room is the largest type, and is just about the right size for 2 - good for a solo traveler if you prefer a bit more space.

Great hotel in center of St. Peter Port. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room has a lot of extras you would not expect for the price such as mini fridge, iron and ironing board, as well as a dvd player and a range of dvds to choose from at reception. Did not eat in the restaurant but the breakfast was very good, with nice continental buffet as well as full English.

We have just stayed at this hotel to attend the wedding of friends of ours. We had an executive room. The room was immaculate as was the bathroom. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The whole property is exceedingly well maintained in the public areas as well as the rooms. Nothing was too much trouble. It is very close to the harbour so an excellent situation for anyone wanting to see the sites. The breakfast selection was excellent as was the breakfast room. Again the service was superb. It was very pretty with flowers everywhere. An excellent stay, thank you.

Room Tip: Couldn't fault the executive room
