The Pandora is well situated in this historic area of St Peter Port. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms clean and warm and the food was great! Comfortable lounge area, and the terraced gardens are amazing with wonderful sea views. A word of warning that this is not a suitable hotel for anyone with disabilities, there are no lifts, and steep steps down to the basement restaurant. Also, those wonderful garden views are from the lowest level of the terraces accessible only by steep steps. To be honest, I thought this beautiful island overall was a bit in the dark ages regarding disability issues and "level playing fields". As a final point on our recent stay a group of students were in residence on a field trip. V nice young people, but, out of necessity they regularly turned the lounge into a makeshift study area, discussing course notes, ordering in food from the local take-aways to eat sitting on the lounge floor, and resultantly making the lounge inaccessible at times to other guests. At times the overall ambience was like a campus. Don't know if this is a regular occurance at this venue. But all in all a great stay.

Room Tip: Ask for ground floor overlooking gardens at the back of the hotel on the the same level as the resta...

Good position up a steep hill.nice gardens.rooms large but bathroom small and the extractor fan loud and goes on for ages. All rooms appear to have them as you can hear all around you.breakfast was ok had worse. Need a selection of rolls or bread be good. The lounge areas were very good with plenty of comfortable seating.the bar looked ok but as we waited for 20mins for someone to serve us and when they did arrive ignored us no idea if good.
Staff were friendly and the rooms kept clean.

Room Tip: At the back and top floor

Situated in the historic quarters of the town and next door to Victor Hugo's House. A warm welcome awaited us, bedroom was clean, comfortable beds and hot water any time of the day. We stayed for seven nights halfboard and the restaurant food was very good with a different menu each night, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The mature terraced gardens were very peaceful to relax in with a drink from the bar. The only downside to the hotel would be for someone with walking difficulties as there is no lifts and steps up to the entrance of the hotel and down to the restaurant

Just the one night on our way to Sark. Pandora was a magnificent find after last year's disaster overnight in Guernsey. Reception was perfect, addressing me by name after checkin! Food was great at dinner and breakfast. Room plenty big enough, quiet and warm. Everything we could want for our short visit.

Room Tip: Only had one room -so no advice as to best

The hotel was excellently positioned to walk into St Peter Port, passing the Garden Terrace Thai restaurant on the way. (We visited almost every day during our 5 day break, especially to drink the locally brewed Rocquette cider). The Pandora Hotel was very clean, the breakfasts were very nice with a good varied choice, including Island made Guernsey yoguart which was excellent. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly reccommend this hotel, and will certainly visit again.

Room Tip: Although our room was on the second floor, and the hotel had no lift, the views from our bedroom win...

Fabulous location - peaceful yet handy walk into town. Staff so helpful friendly and attentive. Half board excellent value as menu varied and quality very good. Beautiful and interesting garden with amazing views and very relaxing. Comfortable and well appointed room, and impressive public rooms with good wifi access. Four days at the Pandora was not enough - excellent value

Room Tip: Ideally go for a room at the rear and not ground floor

Having just returned from the ** Pandora Hotel, after a few days on the lovely Island of Guernsey, I was happy to find that not much has changed, at the Pandora.

The Hotel was very quiet, and my request for a certain room with a lovely view was met.
Which was nice.
As usual the Hotel was kept spotlessly clean and tidy, by the seemingly small army of cleaners, who quietly worked away.

The Hotel Staff many of whom were there on my previous visits were welcoming, friendly and helpful as ever.
The Breakfast was good, as usual, and for the first time I tried the evening meals, offered as Half Board when I booked.

The Menu is very good and seems to cater for all, I found the food well prepared, and of a good quality, the Menu provided to the guests being exactly the same as the Menu presented to "outside" clients, but at a considerably discount when booked in advance.
When I book again I shall definetly go for the Half Board Option.

All in all, another lovely stay at the Pandora.
Looking forward to next time already!

Room Tip: Ask for a first floor romm at the back of the Hotel to overlook the Gardens, and possible sea view.
