the Crab from CRABCABIN is the best I have ever tasted. Give it a try. Easy to walk to from Fermain Valley Hotel, but take your time coming back

Long walk down in the heat but lovely once there. Tide was in so just took photos and left. The walk up was pretty hot and sweaty, especially when carrying bags etc

We visited Guernsey for the day from Poole and took the number 11 bus from the town to Fermain. The walk down the hill is quite steep and winding but there are a few benches to stop along the way if needed. Once we reached the bottom we were delighted by an amazing view of a small pebble bay and clear water perfect for swimming and snorkelling. There is a beach cafe serving hot and cold drinks and lots of different food on the menu. We had some cold San Miguel and sat looking at the view. Well worth the walk down and back up the hill! Next time we will take the coastal path as other reviewers have mentioned. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended :)

We were walkng the coast path which pases through the bay. It's a peaceful setting with a good cafe and toilets (unmarked but in the white building. Superb views from the path and worth the effort of all the steps.

This East coast bay is great for all ages depending on wind, normally Westerly you are protected excepting from East. You can also swim off the moorings on the North side especially at high-tide. on the cliff/coastal path so you can take in Marble Bay and Divette to the South they are about 30 mins walk.
