Visited with adult family on a friday, around 4pm. The ground floor was busy so we were seated in the additonal space upstairs.
The food was absolutely gorgeous - the potions are large but it is not a case of quantity versus quality. The food is a high quality with all the family enjoying their choices of poached haddock, seafood mix and battered haddock, all with chips. There is a vegetarian section too, I enjoyed the little mixed grill immensely.
Desert was very slow to arrive but absolutely worth the wait. Apple pie and cheesecake of the day have never tasted better.
The staff are friendly without being intrusive.
The restaurant also caters to children, providing high chairs on request.
Highly recommend this restaurant.

Thank Stacey E

Can't fault this place. If you think the prices are on the high side, don't be put off. It's well worth it and once you eat there, you'll be going back again and again. It's top drawer!

Visited over Easter - long queue for restaurant and take a way as usual - this is the 5th time we have paid a visit over the last 4 years. Family run with all staff very attentive and when we requested another table away from the draughty door no trouble for the staff at all. The meal was excellent as usual with a massive piece of cod - piping hot with lovely freshly cooked chips - could not fault it at all.

menu is good and the fish was very tasty. despite being busy teh queue soon goes. Service was a bit slow to start with, which can be a bit annoying when you have waited, but once we got going the service improved.
